Review of Fender Champion 110 Guitar Amplifier, using a Stratocaster without any effect, just the Guitar, cable and amplifier. My first guitar amp. Made in Usa. 1x10" speaker. 25W. two channels. At some point I lost the fender logo. The guitar is my Fender Stratocaster John Mayer signature. I used a Ditto looper.

I played through one of these and thought it sounded horrible, then I realized it wasn't a bass guitar combo lol
Fantastic little amps. I picked a used one up yesterday after finally finding one locally. If you can get your mits on one your in for a nice little treat. The clean tones are absolutely fantastic and the amp make an excellent pedal platform. The amp is rated at 25 watts but it probably closer to 40. It's also carries a reverb tank that is not visible in the cabinet but it's tucked away in the metal electronics housing. It's a loud sucker and it doesn't loose integrity when you decide to turn it up a bit. Just an all around good amp. Very happy to have gotten me one!

Picked one last week for 30$, perfect condition minus missing 3 knobs which are discontinued. Also changed resistor R46. Schematics say it should be 1.5K and there was a 120 ohms in it's place. This little thing kicks butt. I guess Fender engineers got the specs right when they designed this amp.

Luckily I have one and I removed the serial where it says made in mexico, and it turns out to be made in usa and sounds fantastic, I can't ask for more

Westcoast Johnny yes it is! Not too powerful but a great little sound. Welcome to the channel!
Personally I find the reverb weak on this amp. The digital reverb on my Laney Cub 12r is so much better. But a cheap pedal can fix that. I took the trouble to service and twist cables etc ... really reduces noise. I cannot easily use this past volume 2 - need to fix the pots as it's off then essentially loud. Hell I did put it on 10 recently ... a real Back to the Future moment... alot of air came out from that one chord ... took me by surprise and I normally play bass!!

How is the "volume" on this? I had a Princeton 112 which could not be turned up past "1" without shattering my eardrums. Nice demo!

There is no 75 watt version of the 110. People see 75 watts on the back and assume that means it's a 75 watt amp. It *consumes* 75 watts when in use, it doesn't produce 75 watts.

I think it will be short of power ..I used it professionally but on a large stage with the amplifier isolated and miked ... I do not think to play in a club next to a drums and more instruments is adequate ... Thanks for commenting and subscribe to the channel!
Perfect for open mics
If you’re playing gigs in clubs or small venues then 99% of places are gonna have a mixing desk for the vocals so just mic it up with an SM57/58 and won’t need to be cranked to loud to get a decent loud enough sound through the PA.
For me they’re at great sounding clean amp at a good price used, solid state which doesn’t bother me does all I need from it, there’ll always be the tube amp only players that will hate on them and say they’re crap but that’s bollocks!!! compact amp & light which won’t be a back breaker like a tube amp! Takes pedals really well.
But still - you have to play relativity loud to make it sound good, haven't you? Not for practising home - ?
