How Good Was Manute Bol Actually? - Спорт
Ok being 10ft tall isn’t 1/10th as interesting as the fact he was possibly 50 years old in the NBA but nobody, including him, actually knew how old he was.
Kermit Ikr, did he ever find out how old he actually was?
AdyWady unfortunately no
How do you not know how old you are?

Imagine going into the paint and having two 7'7" guys trying to block you
while you're 5'10
Gotta hit them sky layups like curry. Also bro if they got two damn near 8 footers im cool with takin jumpshots for a game 😂
Lebron would just bulldoze them out of the way
Actually would be good for painting. No ladder needed to reach anything well over 9 feet. Ceiling corner edging, no problem.
Him and Muresan Wow
Bruh if he got some muscle he would’ve been unstoppable.
Oh Yeah Yeah it’s hard to develop muscle with his weight and crazy height
Nello Dinka people are naturally skinny.
My main point was that if your so tall it’s harder to gain appear bigger (have more muscle)
Yah but those knees would get rekt
He is unstoppable on defense
Kdogbagel l they aren’t naturally skinny, they just aren’t fat, they don’t have fast food or hot Cheetos, if they did manure bol would be like shaq
When you’re 6’10 and only 2 inches taller than your wife 😂
Lol
See thats what i was thinking lol

the important thing is HOW GOOD OF A MAN HE WAS
@vincent stewart All of them!! To the point that he died in his village not able to return to the states and attend to his medical condition, out of poverty.

That's so sad ;(. I'm gonna cry now
he missed the opportunity to name his son Basket. Or Passthe.
Or Sac.
He could've named his son Ligma 😔
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHHHHHHHAHAHAHA xD
I'm glad he didn't name any of them LaVar
His son can though...
2 7’7 players on the same is OP
BNF SQUAD lmaoo
@Ben Dover in modern it wouldn't work, but back then it was a get to the basket playstyle
Until they get hurt lol
@lil boi Henry they were less athletic versions of Tacko Fall, we know they wouldn't make the league
@lil boi Henry Tacko went undrafted and plays on the G-league and he is more mobile and has a somewhat proportionate body. Why would they make the roster of a team when Tacko can't??
We gonna ignore that he almost averaged a triple double with blocks?
Le Monkey yes
Goat
Yeah, but that's not because of skill level. That's purely because of his height.
@@tawtam1 it was skill tacko fall is his height and doesnt do da same

I doubt Bol and Muresan took the court at the same time.
I remember being so fascinated by him. Never knew all of the charitable things he did for his country. Man that's awesome.
Love that he donated all his money to his people..even if he died broke he's still a hero, the man wanted to see change in his village

How can you be too tall for football
@@dannylynch6992 injury proneness, if you are an outfield player, you are way more susceptible to long term injuries due to your long legs because tackles and if you are a goalie, even tho you are taller than the goal itself it doesn't help if you can't get down in time and since freakishly tall people like him don't tend to have the best musculature a lot of injuries to the hands will doom him too
Beckham could have 50 assist a season with him.

I love how nobody knew how old he was so they just said he was 19 even though he was probably ten years older.

His contributions to charity, deserve a huge thank you
RIP manute bol I have been following his son bol bol for a couple years now and I can tell y’all he is going to be a future MVP

He also played on the same team as Mugsy Bouges. The biggest gap in height between teammates in history. 2 feet and 5 inches I believe
5’3 💀💀
Manute Bol was before his time. In today's NBA, he would have much more value as a stretch 5 who could block shots, shoot treys, run the floor in transition. Modern training methods would've also helped him build enough muscle to not get bullied so much. And his noble humanitarian efforts would've also been more appreciated in today's social media age.
RIP Manute Bol.
Dude was a legend, on and off the pitch. A really good guy

What about hitting the NFL as hard as the NBA w/your great videos and hard ass work?👍🏈
I’ll never forget the highlight video I watched when bol was knocking down a bunch of threes when and he has no Juno in his jump shot. That shit was crazy
I don’t even watch basketball. I don’t know why this is on my recommendations but I’m happy that it was!
He also was the one who started the phrase "my bad".... whenever you humbly admit to making a mistake. We absolutely adored him in golden state. Donn nelson and chris mullin used to call him "Nutie". Sharunas, judd beushler, tom tolbert and Manute... some of the most memorable players to ever play in Alameda.
Yes he did start the my bad. Yet it came out my bahd because his English wasn’t that good.
its amazing to see someone so tall move about and play
If he learned the game early in life, he would have been even more skilled.

Manute was a graceful player that ended up in the toughest era ever and on bad teams. Had he ended up on a contender like Detroit, Houston we still would be looking up to him both literally and figuratively.
I remember I met him @ O’Hare about 15 years ago I was amazed at how tall he was especially face to face

Probably the best 50-year-old ever to play in the NBA.
@3:42 that's Mugsy Bogues the shortest NBA player ever at 5' 3", drafted from Wake Forest at the same time Manute Bol was drafted in as the tallest player ever. Bogues became a great player and fan favorite in Charlotte for the Hornets.

If bill russell and wilt had blocks counted then they would for sure be.
