What people miss about Wilt Chamberlain scoring 50 a game in 1961. Also, the Cavs had Kyrie and LeBron, the two all stars. Don't get it wrong, the rest of the Cavs teammates were good, but they were a level below Kyrie and LeBron. Then the warriors have curry, one of the best point guards in the league, Klay, one of the best shooting guards in the league, Kevin Durant, one of the best small forwards in the league, and Draymond, which Draymond is a good player. But look at it, 2 all stars vs 5 of the best players in the league, wonder why the warriors dominated the NBA most of the time for the 2016-17 season. It's hilarious how people have the nerve to compare the warriors to the Chicago bulls with prime Jordan. Those people were born in like 2007 or later, they never got to witness how much of a phenom Jordan was and how close he was to the PERFECT NBA player. Michael Jordan is the best player of all time, not curry, not LeBron.

The next closest were the 2015-16 Spurs at 43-3 (who couldn't make it out of the divisional round), the heartbreaker 2015-16 GS Warriors at 48-4, the 95-96 Bulls at 49-4, and the 96-97 Bulls at 49-3. That Boston home stand is probably going to last forever.
didn't the 2017 spurs do this also?
@@nopir3898 The 2017 Spurs lost 10 home games in the regular season and 3 home games in the playoffs.
@@geraldhallahan5270 sorry, it was the 2016 spurs, they had a 40-1 regular season record but they lost in the playoffs.
@@geraldhallahan5270 2016 was a crazy year. The Spurs were 40-1 at home and the Warriors were 73-9. OKC had the most talent. Yet it was the Cavs that won the championship. Go figure 🤔
Chris Smoove broke these records
2:15 lol Kobe is the boss
Arguably one of my favourite of Wilt's records is 20000 points in 499 games.
Number 2 is Jordan with 620.
Have you heard of the NBA record for most steals in an MBA half. It's eight Steals and it was done by Michael Jordan. He also scored over 55 points at game
@@whenisdinner2137 Steals weren't counted as stats when Wilt was playing. I love Jordan, but Wilt is the goat. 55 rebounds in one game, 50 PPG in a season, who knows how many triple doubles, hell the 100 points in a game isn't even the king of his trophy room.

Great video production and very interesting facts. Its a shame you guys only have 34k subs, you deserve way more. Keep up the good work, this project is gonna be big in a year.
You SHOULD do a vid on JUST WIlt's records. I'd like to know....How many records did Wilt break. Even if they were later broken. THAT # must be WELL over 100 , Maybe 200???
somewhere between 80 and 90 records he set - only a few of which have been broken since.
What's scary is how many of his "second best" or "third best" games would be the record if it wasn't for his "best game" records.
This video is gold man....well do
Tony snell with the 100% free throws holds the new record

difference in the '96 bulls and the the 73 win warriors is that the bulls went 69 and 13 in the following '97 season and won chips both seasons.
Plus John Stockton's records for assists and ridiculous.
Many of the "youngest ever to..." records held by LBJ and Kobe Bryant become very difficult to beat when NBA doesn't allow high school players to enter NBA directly
New Records that will never be broken:
Most 3 pointers made in: Stephen Curry- 3117+
Most Points scored: Lebron James soon gonna overtake Kareem
3:24 he looks like Trevor from gta
Where’s Ben Simmons with the least 3 pointers?
That’s Jose Calderon
Great video, it is also great to see that you highlight the greatness of Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell. Two of the players that would be on any NBA Mount Rushmore! Wilt as the best individual player ever and the stats prove it. Russell as the greatest leader ever and his 11 rings in 13 years prove that point too!
Phil Jackson has 13 rings
Bruh they did research on on over 100 games of wilt and he averaged 8.8 blocks too bad they didn’t keep track
Forgot to mention Ron Artist’s 86 game suspension while Ben Simmons is the most fined nba player with 1.4million
Jordan 30.12 Average record while missing two years of his prime?
Now just score 24 more a game and he could be Wilt in his prime.
His career playoff average is more impressive:
1. Michael Jordan 33.45
2. Allen Iverson 29.73
3. Kevin Durant 29.50
4. Jerry West 29.13
5. Donovan Mitchell 28.85
What people miss about Wilt Chamberlain scoring 50 a game in 1961. It is that he had the greatest percentage on his team for field goal attempts. will himself said if you're going to be taking all the shots, it makes sense that you would shoot the highest percentage on your team. Otherwise you're just hurting the team.
I believe in the season that will averaged 50 points, he was also well over 50% on his field goal shooting.
Who’s here after the Thunder lost by 73 points to the Grizzlies?
largest margin of victory just got broken
The most win in the season but lost to the final from 3-1.
5:24 the grizzlies broke it in the 2021-22 season in a 152-79 win vs. OKC

Russell also has 2 NCAA championships junior and senior year with USF and a gold medal at the 56' summer Olympics.
11 rings he was mainly responsible 4 and still not considered best celtic
Lifelong Nuggets fan. I remember that 100 point embarrassment quite well. Still hurts lol
i thinks wilts 48.5 minutes a game, is unbreakable because literally no one plays a whole game any more, it just doesn't happen
so I think this is one that will never be broken, especially because of how the game is now played
The 3-1 lead was unforgettable and will always be the greatest comeback
You could see this happen many times on my league on 2k

Nah. Especially not 48.5 minutes per game. Thats the most improbable of all time in my opinion unless they increase the length of a standard game

can’t believe that losing by 68 points record was broken recently
If Kobe was put in his game for the first half longer he could’ve gotten 100 I think James Harden can maybe break 100 points but the thing is he relies on flops to get rest free throws
You need to update this. A certain team was just beat by 73.

"Even though he was a center" - but #2 on that list was ALSO a center, Kareem, with Moses at #8 and Tim Duncan (who played a LOT more years as center than power forward) #11.
Kareem is #1 for most MINUTES played though - which helps explain his "most points" record.
“Nba Records that will never be broken: Jose Calderon Free Throw Percentage”
Tony Snell: 👀
Lead the league in scoring and assists in the same season. Nate "Tiny" Archibald.
If this includes ncaa basketball, the most unbeatable record will be scoring 141 points and managing to lose by 117 points the same game
U can tell he is a warriors fan because he said they lost because they where tired
Well. They lost players due to injury or had players playing injured. A full strength GSW would have easily put away the Cavs.
@@omnivorous65 the cavs healthy the year before would have won too
Yeah no shit and most warriors fans are bandwagon bitches who ride Curry's dick

Two more unbreakable record are the Celtics 8 straight championships [1959-1966] and 10 straight Eastern Conference titles [1957-1966].
"Records are made to be broken" remember that.
But some T's in a season. Impossible. Even if you tried to break it. You'd run out of games first. For every T after 15 it's 1 game more. Never going to happen unless the rules are changed.
John Stockton career assist and steal will never be broken

Booker isn't even in the Top 10.
Wilt on the other hand owns HALF (5) of the Top 10 entries
Wilt is the actual goat of NBA
No
People overlook 22 rebounds a game average for a career. Wilt challenged an unbelievable number of shots blocking a large, unrecorded stat, number. He was Bill Russell with huge scoring. The only argument against Wilt is Russell's 11 rings, including the last one as PLAYER COACH.

Blocks were not recorded during the era of Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, or Nate Thurmond - all 3 of which LIKELY had higher seasons (Bill and Wilt DEFINITELY did).
Thank you. Gene Wiley, for example, I'm certain also had higher seasons as well.
Wit about wilts 36 straight field goal without missing and not dunking?
"68-point margin of victory is an unbreakable record"

How about 50.4 points/game?? That is more unbreakable than the 100 point game, which some wild fluke might happen. No one can AVERAGE over 50 points/game for an entire season.
