Dry roast for 1-2 min on low heat: 2 tsp cumin seed, 2 tsp coriender seed, 1 tsp fennel seed and transfer to a plate to cool.
Dry roast for 3-4 mins on lowest flame: 3-4 (2") cinnamon stick, 14-15 green cardamom, 3 Black cardamom, 1 tsp clove, 1 rsp Black pepper corn, 1 star anise, 2 forêts of mace. After 5 min, add dried ginger (2" x 2") and dry roast 1 min on medium low flame.
Dry roast for 2-5 mins on medium low flame : 6 kashmiri red chilli pepper, 7-8 red chilli pepper.
Once cool down to room temp, grind all to a course powder, then add 1TBSP Kasuri Methi and grind to a fine powder.
Sift to a plate; grind the sifted chunks and store in dry glass jar.

Fennel should be added directly as the flavour spoils if it gets over roasted. And Kasuri Methi can be added to it as well.
She added kasuri methi in it at the very end, directly in the mixer.
If you give the ingredients list in the description box one can easily follow the recipe on the preparation side.

I am not Indian. So what’s the difference between this and Gara Masala?
So garam masala is almost similar (minus a few ingredients like the red chillies) and is used to season curries, dals etc. Tandoori masala is more specific, used in marination of meat, protein and so on. It's like how you marinate anything before you barbecue. It gives a much different taste than garam masala. Hope this helps (even if it's after 2 years lol!)

This masala will be good up to 4-5 months if stored in airtight container and kept away from direct sunlight/heat :)
Recipe: Correct me if i'm wrong
Cumin Seeds 2tsp
Coriander Seeds 2tsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Dry roast on low flame for 1-2 mins.
Don't brown the spices
Then transfer the roasted seeds in a plate to cool down
In a pan take:
2"Cinnamon stick - Break into small pieces if you have bigger chunk(s) 3-4
Green cardamom 14-15
black cardamom 3
Clove 1 tsp
Black peppercorn (gol morich asta) 1tsp whole
Star anise 1
Florets of Mace 2 (joyotri maybe)
Dry Roast above for 3-4 mins on lowest flame
After 5 mins add:
Dried ginger 2x2"
break into small pieces if you have bigger chunk
Dry roast for 1 min more on medium-low flame
Transfer the roasted seeds in a plate to cool down
Kashmiri dry red chilli 6
This will add bright red colour to the tandoori masala mix
Dry red chili 7-8
This will add heat to the tandoori spice-mix
Dry roast for 2-5 mins on medium low flame
Once roasted spices are at room temperature pour them in a grinder
1/ elachi-melachi mix
2/ Mishty jeera r dhoniya (first thing we did)
3/ Dried red chilli+kashmiri chili
Grind to coarse powder in grinder
Add 1 tbsp kasuri methi
Grind to fine powder
Sift the tandoori masala powder through a sieve
Take the larger chunks back to grinder and grind to fine powder again
Take a clean & dry glass jar
Homemade Tandoori masala powder is ready to use
Store the spice mix in any air-tight glass jar upto 4 months & use accordingly

She made generic mutton masala, actually chicken tandoori masala only use small cardamom nd mutton tandoori masala uses big cardamom. There are other things but this is a useless video.
