You questioned if it was right to film something here (at the start) well I am glad you did, I couldnt make it, (and never have left my country of origin) and getting to see this visit live, made me cry in regret for all that Howard missed out on in his terribly short life. Thank you for your video.
H.P. Lovecraft, a great atmospheric writer of strange and amazing tales, an intelligent poet, a fine example of a person. We will continue to admire him and the world's he created - equal in talent to the other great writers he reported to us about. He has already inspired many of our modern writers and artists as a supreme point of reference, they praise him above all the others it seems. A new revival of interest in his work has spawned an endless stream of inspiration, mythos extending out beyond into the horrors of space. Mr. Lovecraft has preserved the past masters and made such creative element as to inspire, set free, frighten, and spark our minds to think in strange ways. Some people possess a genius that cannot be overshadowed as they are unique with other unique talents. For him it was with talents such as Lord Dunsany, Arthur Machen, Ambrose Bierce, Poe Etc. Most fail to reach these heights of artistic individuality. Mr. Lovecraft was of the highest order. At this modest grave for a talent beyond the scope of his time period, not recognized in his own lifetime, I say: "Here's to H.P. Lovecraft", writer, poet, friend to a lucky circle of aspiring writers, upstanding citizen of and son of the town of Providence.
The story "the hound " was based on him self taking a stone from a grave from Brooklyn NY. The sea shells a symbolic of Dagon, and of course the sunken city, where the old one rest. Come on man.

I AM PROVIDENCE. That's one badass statement on his headstone.
It's interesting because it's located in providence.
The man deserves a much proper headstone.
Thank you for filming this! It's quite underwhelming all things considered. I was half hoping for a giant Cthulhu shrine. :P

I am Providence - What an epitaph although for Lovecraft its missing an adverb or four!
