Thanks for the comment bud! And yeah, I start my videos not from a story but from an atmosphere, in order to make them really immersive. The rest came naturally, with editing done in Premiere, composing in After effects and CGI in Blender. Hope that helps!
You should make a series or movie about this. Would take a massive budget, but I'd love to see the events leading to the invasion, the efforts to contain it, then humanity losing and you're in hiding, recording your experiences when you're going outside
This video gives me the same vibes I get when I’m watching National Geographic. It’s so calming and puts a relaxing overtone narrative even though they’re supposed to sound scared shitless. It’s so calming to see just these things just moving around, they’re acting natural just like other living organism. It’s just so calming and yet you think it’s the beginning of the end when in reality it’s the end of our beginning. It does not mean it’s thee end. Humans are too self centered.
This creature is actually quite cute to me, probably because it’s very reminiscent of silt striders from Morrowind and landstriders from The Dark Crystal. Both of which I find equally intimidating and adorable.
Funny enough it terrifying to me for the exact same reasons lol i hated both of those things as a kid and would actively refuse to go anywhere near silt striders
It is floating it is a tornado. And not the obvious tornado. Many times tornados form like this with multiple legs. It's unusual for them to last very long this way because they combine into one a lot of times. The author of the video likely widened the base with VFX to give the legs an elephant type foot. Also likely added some legs.

Survival Guide: Map a route to a space center, preferrably the Kennedy Space Center. Get some survivors and rocket scientists. Build a space shuttle orbiter and launch vehicle. Put some hydroponic farms up there. Oxygen recycling and fuel mining equipment. Haul survivors onto the shuttle. For dramatic effect, let one of the creatures waltz on to the premises and try to destroy the shuttle, but escape just in time. You now have the remnants of humanity on board your shuttle. Find a new home.
It’s really interesting that for all the other disasters that wiped out animal species, earth always goes back to a calm, peaceful environment, but for when humans are wiped out, it’s always the ‘end of everything ever’
Since there are still birds (and presumably more non-intelligent life forms) we can draw two possible conclusions. 1- Civilization as we know it is extinct, and the few human beings that remain would be nothing more than nomadic beings who try to manage as best they can in a world that is no longer made for them. 2- 'Something' (presumably those things) wiped out humanity, but for a reason that probably only they understand, they left the other life forms alive Regardless of both alternatives, they are still terrifying
The monsters are not attacking or anything I see them as a sign of the end not the cause or the result the warning not attacking or defending just there like most animals
I love this vibe. Fog and colossal creatures with an aberration appearance. They appear calm, but possess apocalyptic force, wandering around as a warning to humanity of the end.

0:26 , the creature reminds me of a hand in a way, like if you make a "dog" it looks vaguely similar. There even seems to be a wrist?? Like we're not seeing the whole thing and the rest is above the clouds. It's menacing and intriguing thats for sure!
"Why is it that those so much more large, powerful, and godlike choose to destroy?" "Why if you told me that sentence came from a carpenter ant, I'd be none the wiser."
Giant monsters do be acting gangsta till they find that murder apes they are messing with can send them a 500kg blmb from far beyond the reach of their senses. Even if it won't take damage, even if it is lractically indestructable, we WILL make a pit big enough under it to bury it alive in the blink of an eye. Giant walking monsters are a goofy concept.
The sight of something visibly hostile and bizarrely huge miles away from you moving, a sensation only in dreams to be felt, but this video managed to convey it.
I always love seeing massive creatures moving around. They always appear so mythical. If I ever die and get reborn, I want to live as a walking mountain.
This reminds me of Donnie Darko. The creator of that movie has mentioned how certain characters do come from the future and that he would’ve liked to make a sequel film showing the future they came from and how they set about changing past events to prevent the whole apocalypse from happening. In Donnie Darko, it shows the apocalypse starting with some sort of vortex/tornado. And so, I could see this adding to the whole lore honestly (with creatures coming down and stuff) Very cool!
Absolutely love what you're doing with cosmic horror. And some of the creatures remind me of horror versions of Theo Jansen's Strandbeests, and I love it.
I remember first time i saw this. I truly felt like i was in that field, scared, sweaty, and wondering which way to run to avoid that thing. It felt so realistic
The birds would be the last survivors thanks to their ability to travel long distances easily, and thus the few remaining humans follow them, no one knows to where

1:04 I have dreams of that imagery. But the translucent flashes are more apparent. Like fireworks or localized lightning, except with the underlying terror of knowing it's another, superior and more intelligent entity.
Funny thing is that without the commas "I'm so, so, scared" would have hit very differently, like he was saying "Yeah, the world's ending, but I've seen worse".
This feels like something from Lovecraft. I LOVE this. It has the creepy feeling and look, both for the monster and the setting. Plus, the wondering of what is the creature? How did it come to be? What happened in this world? Do we even want to know? Maybe it is something we shouldn't know. This is perfect for a Lovecraftian book, or even another universe of its own!
gay, it'd be a great lovecraftian story if it had any story to tell. this video is a literal nothingburger. dude dragged and dropped some random model off sketchfab + animation with some creepy stock music in the background. theres nothing being expressed here, this isnt art.
You have a talented skill set and a vivid imagination. Both are qualities that will take you as far as you WANT to go. Just watching this clip was like a fine wine tasting. It has notes of M. Night Shyamalan. Full bodied with the essence of H. G. Wells. A hint of Stephen King pepper and a slight floral array of Alfred Hitchcock. In a world where some cataclysmic Lovecraftian event has taken place, people are dying/being killed off by monsters, eldritch sicknesses or are just being driven totally insane by the damaged reality around them.
Maybe the man in "Creatures Of Madness" had good reason to run away North, to avoid all this horror.

The world you created is so cool! Really reminds me of Stephen King's 'The Mist'. How did you go about making this if you don't mind my asking?
Thanks for the comment bud! It was indeed one of many inspirations. :)
For this, it started yesterday when I saw a video of a tornado, and played around with a cool instrument in Mixcraft 8 (which you can hear throughout the video), that gave me a good idea of the atmosphere for the rest of the video. And yeah, I start my videos not from a story but from an atmosphere, in order to make them really immersive.

It is floating it is a tornado. And not the obvious tornado. Many times tornados form like this with multiple legs. It's unusual for them to last very long this way because they combine into one a lot of times. The author of the video likely widened the base with VFX to give the legs an elephant type foot. Map a route to a space center, preferrably the Kennedy Space Center.
2- 'Something' (presumably those things) wiped out humanity, but for a reason that probably only they understand, they left the other life forms alive
Regardless of both alternatives, they are still terrifying
Nah, humans wiped out these monsters.
I mean yeah it might as well be the end of everything since we would be extinct so wed have no influence here after that

The Walker next to that Tornado really puts it in scale of the size of that thing. The Eerie trumpet sound lets us know, "Its on, Im here!"

And so, I could see this adding to the whole lore honestly (with creatures coming down and stuff)
