    I'm 15 years old and about to take the track or strand of stem this upcoming month for SHS this video really helped me a lot since I'm going to pursue the career of being a doctor and I don't want to spend my life time studyimg so it's really good to know that this system of education exist.

    Good day:) you mentioned that the UK also offers accelerated medical programs alike to INTARMED. Can I ask what's the term the UK uses for such programs? Can't seem to find it, thank you.

      For the UK, I believe it’s referred to as undergraduate medicine

    which among the three medical accelerated program do you think is the best? the one in up, ust or dlsu

    • @ChinoyMD
      @ChinoyMD  Рік тому

      It's hard to say since these programs self-select for the best among applicants so their being smart can make up for any shortcomings one school may have compared to others. I would suggest looking at the factors outside the school's curriculum that best suit your needs (ex. scholarships, location, career plans after graduation, etc.)

      I think if we will just based it on the acceptance rate. It would be Intarmed. Bec among the thousands of applicants only the top 50 (before it was 40) students got to be accepted. Esp among Girls. The competition to be accepted in Intarmed is extremely competitive. That is why they were termed as “cream of the crop”.

    Hi Doc! Do you prefer OSI or traditional?

    • @ChinoyMD
      @ChinoyMD  Рік тому

      The only time I got to experience the traditional curriculum was studying for boards and comparing it to my time with OSI as a student, I personally did not find one harder than the other. I think it will come down to the student and how much they're willing to put in the work to fulfill the requirements regardless of which system their school does

      @ChinoyMD  Рік тому

      Hi, I'm not familiar with their admission policies so it would best to contact the department of human bio at DLSU to see if they would.

      You just need to take the medical licensure exam of that country. No need to take medical school there again.

      Yes since DLSU provides scholarships for its undergraduate programs such as the STAR scholarship. I suggest you check out the school's website to find the specific details ☺️

    Sa totoo lang dapat baguhin na ang educational system sa pilipinas. paggusto talagang mag doctor, dapat diretso na agad. no more premed. Dito sa ibang bansa diretso na kaya bata pa lang sila mga consultants na. And ganun din naman continous education pa rin naman. At hindi naman talaga magagamit ang premed kung doctor na. Waste of time effort and money.

      Based on studies kc they factor that the “burn out” phase of the students really affects their overall health and leads to early drop-out. I think ang mali lang sa system sa Med school ng Pinas ay kung ano ba tlga ang pre-med na dpat kuhain. Pero kc the Ph medical curriculum is patterned after the US curriculum kaya din maraming foreign students na nag aaral sa Pinas bec of that. Also not all students ay decided to pursue med agad. Others tend to realized it later in their life. Kaya nga mga accelerated program para naman sa mga decided na tlga. Kaso un nga lang, 3 schools lang nag-ooffer nito.
