I just picked this up and only wore it once in store. I’m as dry as can be. This was so blurring I couldn’t resist. Sisley has shades for people that are often left out from the too light side though the undertones swatch intensely. Sisley is alcohol free.
This foundation is best applied with fingers, especially that it has skin care, I wouldn't waste it. I don't use primer under it, it's so blurring that it's unnecessary.
That eye look is stunning. Can you do a video on that eye look? I would never spend that much money on foundation, but I get it! your money do you however I could never!
I have this foundation , it broke apart after 5 hours on my skin & looked absolutely terrible. I've got combo mature skin . I was so disappointed , at the price I expected something amazing. I will keep working with it, obviously, with it being a $150 foundation that I cant return :(
Oh that is such a shame :( I didn't have that experience but its so helpful to know your experience as well cos things react so differently for us all 💗💗
I’ve tried a sample once and I must admit that, unfortunately, I love it. Hopefully tomorrow I will like it less 🤣 considering the high price and my huge collection.
I was waiting for this review! I use the Danessa Myricks moisture repair balm under this foundation & it's the most comfortable, non drying finish for me! I haven't worn it without the balm but I probably should to see how this wears on my dry skin ❤❤ Your eye makeup is stunning!
I like the brush application because it is lighter but I don’t like full coverage anymore. I don’t mind a slightly matte finish. I think this is fine but not for me.
I’m so glad you reviewed this, thank you! I have very dry skin and don’t want a matte finish, so will pass on this. If you haven’t tried the Sisley concealer, I highly recommend it. Total game changer-it’s replaced my Sigma and ND color correctors and concealers completely. It’s pricy, but the tube lasts forever and a little goes a long way. It hides my dark circles and crepiness, along with how sunken my eyes are getting. Sam Chapman recommended it and I never looked back after trying. I apply with the silver wand attached to the tube, let it dry, then pat in with my fingers and then a dry sponge to sink into my wrinkles. Well worth the coin if you’re looking for other products of theirs to try! ❤
I had the Sisley concealer and in my experience is not good at all for people with dry under eye skin. It makes me look like I had 20 years more with wrinkles I didn’t know I have. I was very upset because it is very expensive in Australia and I put it in the garbage bin after I tried in many ways to make it work without success. My advice for people interested in this concealer is to ask for a sample before buying. I learned from my mistake and I will never buy complexion products without trying before.
@@alya27092, it’s so frustrating when a product doesn’t work like you want it to, I totally get it after a lifetime of makeup fails. I do have extremely dry under eyes, but moisturize the hell out of them with very thick eye cream (Chanel Sublimage La Crème Yeux) that has the consistency of mayonnaise 😂, so it’s really hydrated under there when I put on the Sisley (and the eye cream goes over a moisturizing toner & serum to boot! Vintner’s Daughter), otherwise it would probably be a bust for me, too! With all that hydration, it works on me like a dream, but I totally agree to get a sample first because that price is through the roof! 😥
Thank you! I totally caved from all of you telling me to try the Sisley concealer and picked it up haha I haven't tried it yet but I am dying to see how it works for me 💗💗💗
Even though I don’t wear a matte foundation I can appreciate it on others. This one looks gorgeous on your skin. I wonder what it looks like applied with a synthetic brush? Have you tried? The shade range could use quite the improvement. On the side with the darker shades, the two at the top looks the same, and that repeats further down. I can find a shade for myself, but I have to say the range is confusing. 6N is significantly darker than 6C and 6W, I don’t get it🤔. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the foundation, and for letting me live my bouchy life thru you! 💕
Aw thank you lovely! And thank you for your thoughts on the shade range, so helpful! The rae morris brushes are synthetic but I just personally prefer the sponge with this one 💗💗
Thanks for another great review! I’m not sure if you have these, but in case you do…how does this compare to the Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow and the Guerlain Terracotta foundations?
Thank you lovely! I don't have the Guerlain but this one is sooo much better than the Hourglass. I don't like that hourglass one really, its way too matte for me and looks really heavy and cakey on my skin where as this one is super blurring and skin like and is matte but not drying 💗💗
Is this one, the new one from Sisley, Martina ? if it is, I watched some reviews, who do have dry skin. And the finish it’s no so matte or dry. Well maybe it’s different, because you did used quite a lot of foundation. I do not like foundation makeupy look, so I would use only 1 pump on whole face. That’s what used in those reviews Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I use only 1 pump of this foundation and it covers my face perfectly. Anyways one doesn't need 2 pumps of a full coverage foundation if concealer is also applied.
I just purchased the Christian Louboutin foundation. 🤞 I hope that it works out and a good color match. After watching your video, I’m wondering if I’ve made a mistake, because my favorite foundations are in the matte formula.
@@MartinaLily It came in the mail about a week ago, color match is pretty good. But.. I’m not sure about the scent. 😐 I’m thinking of returning. ☺️ I’ve order both the cle de peau foundation and concealer stick, and wondering if that might be a better fit for me. 🤞 My favorite foundation of all time is the La Mer soft fluid foundation, and the water fresh by Chanel. I prefer a matte and natural foundation. 😊
Argh, it has tocopherol in it! Does anyone have a recommendation for a really good foundation without tocopherol please? I've discovered it breaks me out every time and all foundations seem to contain it!
Wow, prices are getting crazier and crazier! 😢
Sisley has always been crazy. 😬
@@melindamey5231true. I really like their teint eclat foundation, though. I thought that one was expensive, but this takes the cake!
May I ask which one oxidizes ? Between the LB and Sisley foundation

Oh I'm so glad it works so well for you! I agree about the blurring, it is sooo perfecting! 💗💗

Without even trying it I say no

Thanks lovely! And yes, I have this eyelook in my Glaminatrix Pretty in Pastels 3 Looks video :) 💗💗
I have a lovely Sisley cushion foundation and one of the Sisleyä foundations.

💵 Some brands charge more in the U.S. because of the customary return policies here. It’s not just a currency conversion!
Ohh I did not know that, thank you for sharing 💗💗

Oooh that is a great tip for dry skin, thanks Aura! 💗💗
What’s on your eyes ❤
The Glaminatrix Pretty in Pastels Palette 💗💗
Which do you like better this Sisley foundation or the tom ford soft matte architecture? Thank you 😊
I like the brush application because it is lighter but I don’t like full coverage anymore. I don’t mind a slightly matte finish. I think this is fine but not for me.
Would you consider doing a foundation ranking video?
Absolutely! 💗💗
Thank you for this review! I have pretty dry skin, so will pass on this, but appreciate your perspective

Tocopherol is just vitamin E, that's really weird you breakout with it 😮
yes I know. Weird and annoying.@@enlilw-l2
