- Five years ago, in a case that captured headlines around the world, Lavona Solomon was sentenced to 10 years in prison for kidnapping a three-day-old baby from a hospital in Cape Town back in 1997, and raising her as her own. It was only by chance, 17 years later, that the stolen child, Miché Solomon (Zephany Nurse) discovered her true identity when a selfie revealed that her friend, Cassidy Nurse, was in fact her long-lost sister. We spoke with their parents, Celeste and Morne in 2015 but now they’re joining us alongside their daughters - who are sharing their story together for the first time ever.

These interviewers probably should have familiarized themselves with the story a bit more before they interviewed the family. They kept repeating info that was corrected in the moment, by the mom.

I know that it has been two years since the video,, but what happened to the person or people who stole her??
It was the “mother” she got 10 years in prison the “dad” had no clue that the baby was stolen hence why he did not get any time

Not adoptive mother the mother who kidnapped her purposefully. There's no papers to show she was adopted.
The “mother” who stole her was given 10 years in prison for kidnapping and as far as it was understood her husband perhaps had no idea that she was kidnapped.
