- Brissago Island are like a Paradise located in the Ticino part of Lago Maggiore and are about 2.5 km from Brissago and 3.5km from Ascona. The climate on Lake Maggiore, which is unique for Switzerland, allows many subtropical plants to thrive on the large island. Around 1700 plant species from many parts of the world thrive on the Isola Grande. The smaller island is largely unspoilt. The island can be reached by boat from Locarno/Ascona and Brissago.

What a small and beautiful island with beautiful nature of wild flowers, palm trees, big trees, especially I was amazed at seeing bamboo, which is grown in mostly oriental countries. Thanks for sharing your awesome tour!😍🤗

Brissago Island Lago Maggiore Ticino Switzerland. A tour of a boat running on abundant beautiful water is good (* ^^ *) I was surprised that Switzerland also has a bamboo grove!

J’ai adoré la visite de cette île, chaque coins possède un thème c’est superbe ! La villa Emden est très jolie et les vues environnantes du lac et des montagnes est splendide, on le revoit mieux vers la fin . L’oiseau à 10:53 ne semblait pas bouger …était-il vrai ?
