@@TheMediaMonologue 14:16 Too bad that's how they treated him, but I'm also glad he didn't take the spotlight too much, because it was mainly for 3th sister. Thought the 3th sister was quite reckless, arguable and annoying to watch, but thought her stugel/trauma was a good motivation point to change. You could clearly see where her hatred came from.
One point is I think the star wars fandom is suffering is that they are too passionate about it. They focus more on how the story is written, so they can't enjoy it anymore. Personally, I see series as a story that someone tells and we the viewers follow this adventure. The writers determine how it goes and what happens, we just watch. (hope I wrote it understandable)
I really liked to watch this series! Alongside "Bad Batch", this is one of my favourite modern productions under the Star Wars label. I found Obi-Wan's interactions with little Leia just so fun and entertaining! I'd have to watch it again to give a more elaborated assesment of it, but overall, I just really enjoyed it!
here is a question for the Disney era movies , Would they be better or worse with more fan service? meaning if the characters can fill the same roll, would you rather see a new character or a fan favorite? Would Jannah be better as Cindel Towani? Would DJ be better as Dash Rendar? Would Kyle Katarn have saves episodes 7,8,9? Would Mara Jade have saved it? or maybe Ezra Bridger ? Should Rose have been in Force Awakens? or maybe Rose should have been Sabine Wren? Would Po be better if he was the son of Biggs? Or Wedge? Would Solo be a better movie with Dengar? Should Lumpawaroo have been in Rise of Skywalker? Its thoughts like this that make me wonder , do fans care more about some one they know or do original characters work better? I feel there is a certain joy that comes from fan service. Lack of tension comes from knowing a character lives but one can be on edge if a character is both new and we don't see them in the future time line. but there is a sort of "Who cares" for a character who we see for the 1st time, spend a few hours with and never see again especially if they have quirks. like Tala Durith is an interesting character so is haja but I feel like if they had given us names we knew from the books or video games or the cartoon series we would have had more connection to them. on the other hand having some one new left open to more stories means they could come back. Also I really want to see a Luke, Tank , Wedge , Biggs series
I really liked this show. I did the same as you did and only started watching once there were four episodes out. I didn't really engage with the online community until this was out in it's entirety. And because of that, I think my viewing experience was way better. Had I joined others in discussion with each episode, I could easily have been poisoned by the more toxic responses to early episodes. To be fair, there were a couple of places that were a bit clunky but I was able to "maybe the force?" around them. For perspective, I'm the kind of Star Wars fan who has primarily only seen the live action films and TV shows (I know I'm supposed to watch the animated Clone Wars). Maybe that's what makes all these live action shows easier for me to enjoy - there's simply not as much baggage or as many plot holes to trip me up.
I am a big inquisitors fan, so it was fun to see them in action again.
Yeah, I especially liked the 5th Brother in this show.

Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, Ben and Leia were one of the best parts of the show!
I haven't done so, but you should watch the Patterson cut of the show! Some say it's WAY better than the actual show.
Oh is that the edit where he tries to trim it down to improve the pacing?
