Love this! We certainly appreciate you helping us get the most out of our Nords! The synth is certainly something that I need to explore and learn more about. So much untapped potential!
Hi Nick! Thanks for your comment today. Yes, I agree - a lot of untapped potential for sure. I look forward to continuing to extract and refine it. Appreciate the support!
David - you have good ears to associate this. In a million years I would have never found the video/song you are referencing but yes, there are a lot of similarities. Most likely, the LFO had a lot to do with all this. 😄 For those reading the comment, I found this reference video by tame Impala: ua-cam.com/video/XK7bE6rFM6M/v-deo.html
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, this lesson was more theoretical than it was practical. Imitating a helicopter (or better said, a sort-of kinda helicopter thingy - but not really) was one of those things I just "had to do" since my first intro to synthesis back in the 6th grade via a Korg Poly Six. The guy imitated a "helpico[ter" on the Poly Six and it was from that point forward I knew I was going to have synthesizers in my life. So, this video for me was a personal indulgence mostly. 😀 It's also one of my earlier videos.
