She went from not being able to speak to dancing beautifully!

@@odogwuempire001 are you Stephen or Lawrence? Pick one.
@@i.cant.sleep.anymore hahahaha Lawrence is a nickname anyway I'm Stephen and you
@@odogwuempire001 you're a kook
I have MS. Stress can trigger a flareup. Flareup equals more damage potentially. Her MS is aggressive. It’s too risky. I applaud her. I’m glad she had the opportunity, and raised awareness.
I’m glad she gave it a try, but I would have been shocked had she finished the season. Following her journey I have seen her struggles and was blown away she joined the cast given the toll this competition takes on a persons body. Bravo for going for it Selma! You did a fabulous job.
Agreed- I was so surprised she was up for this at all. What a graceful and courageous exit. Beautiful
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
She should have never participated in the first place.😭
@@vincentruvo6988 Actually, She should do what ever her heart desires as life is too short to not at least give opportunities that are offered to us a try. ❤️
Selma Blair has touched the world in the most auspicious way. Thank you Selma.
Hello 👏 Ann E
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
@@odogwuempire001 Well I'm David macos by name and I'm from Roma Italy currently in Denver Colorado
@@odogwuempire001 Nice to meet you here 😊
So why don't you just tell me more about yourself if you don't mind me asking?
In that final dance, Selma looked stunning with her beautiful lines and stately posture. She can always treasure the fact that she did become an exquisite dancer.
She gave us MSER’s bigger dreams then we ever imagined. I’m mainly wheelchair bound, but to see someone like her get up and motivate me the way she has…. I love her!!
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
MS is no joke. I too suffer from it and everyday has been challenging. I’m very proud of her. Wishing her all the best ❤❤❤
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
I knew this was going to happen. But I'm so happy that Selma made it this far. Yes. I'm crying. She did her very best and it's all she can do when it comes to having a disability. I know. I've been there. Thank you Selma for fighting!
I have a lot of chronic pain and rheumatology issues and cannot imagine attempting to do what she has done. What an inspiration she is to all of us! Congratulations on how far you've come, Selma!
As someone who also suffers from an autoimmune disease, I applaud Selma for even taking this challenge on. I know how important it is to keep stress levels as low as possible to help prevent flares, and just the stress of learning the dances week after week had to be grueling and physically exhausting. Bravo, Selma and Sasha, for toughing it out as long as you did in this competition and then make such a graceful exit. Your son is so proud of his mama! 👍❤🙏
From one warrior sister to another, well done. Well done. You have no idea how much you've inspired your community and the world!! 🙏🏽❤️
I'm happy she's doing better since I last saw her. I love Selma. I teared up
Miss Blair is truly inspirational giving hope to others with MS to try things that was thought of as impossible to try. Watching her dance performances were uplifting!😁👍
Even though it’s sad that she won’t be on the show moving forward, it’s great that Selma is doing what she needs to do to take care of herself.
😢💔 I have MS too, and I love her for fighting for us and getting this horrible, nightmare of a disease out there so others can “try” to understand what we go through every minute of every day, the pain, the uncontrollable it does to our bodies…. Thank you Selma, I love you our fellow MS Warrior.🧡 🙏🏽
I too have MS and disagree. She set unrealistic expeditions to non-sufffers.
@@Matt-fu5ty She’s/Selma got a lot of resources at her disposal that not everyone has- I wonder if that’s part of it- her financial and time availability to treatment that not everyone does
Also her strength to go through it- not everyone is as strong/willing to do it especially once it starts to wear you down. I’m speaking from my own journey with attachment trauma and feeling others have stronger willingness than I do and it’s tough
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
Me too.I am so proud of her.I hope I can dance again too
Yes!!!
I haven't cried like I cried at this for a very long time. Selma was amazing on this show. I hope she is home right now relaxed and happy.
Man. I LOVE her. She’s the most beautiful soul. Sending you all the love, Selma!
I was diagnosed with MS earlier this year . It’s not to tuff yet. I started infusions immediately after my diagnosis . I pray I’ll be able to continue walking even if I need a cane . Selma you are my MS Inspiration .
I have ms and when she said having to accept when things are too much, I felt that. I had to learn that in 2016 when I was diagnosed. I push my limit, but know my limits too. She is amazing and as a Ms warrior I am proud of her 💜
Love Selma Blair!! She is a very strong person. I wish her all the best in the future!! My heart goes out to her and her son. 💖💖💖
So proud of her. She's a freakin warrior. Prayers to her. Stay strong.

I was completely awestruck by her performances Selma is truly an inspiration to everyone about adversity & triumphing over it!
I really admire her for forging ahead to accomplish a dream. She's an inspiration!
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
As a fellow MSwarrior..Selma you are truly a warrior. 🧡
I follow her through everything. I'm a 43 year old mother of and I have Huntington's Disease. I was diagnosed in 2019. I have lost my Father in 2019 as well. He had it and his mom had her family.
I have learned to smile every day and I'm still working full time and try to stay positive about life because I have to show my daughters that since they have 50% chance of inheriting Huntington's then they have to look at this a just a new life as not a Death sentence but the last 20 years to live like your going to die tomorrow 💜🦋💙
She was amazing I was diagnosed with ms this year on the 21st anniversary of 9/11. Its no joke but we've been lucky with all the treatments we have now. Compare to what we had years before.
All I could say is to cheer to her. Amazing performance, after a long painful journey. All the Best from Hungary.
I'm an MS warrior myself also dx in 2018 and man hats 👒 off to her 😊🤗🥰 ... MS STRONG 💪🏾🧡🧡🧡
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
She’s so brave you’re the winner in my eyes she’s so strong
Watching Selma was totally amazing. She touched the hearts of millions as each week she performed exquisitely all while 6enduring pain, flare ups etc from MS. I commend Selma for doing DWTS and wish her the best. I watched her documentary too & that really hit me hard. I appreciate Selma for opening up & showing us what her life is like now and then. I feel for her son, you can see the love & care he has for his mother at such a young age- he certainly does adore his mama.💜
My mother-in-law had MS since her 30s, although I didn't know her until my husband & I met in 2000. It was an honor to have her in my life & my kids lives. Last July 2021, we lost my mother-in-law who. I wish I had known her sooner. My heart goes out to those whom have MS and their loved ones especially the ones by their side day in & day out.
Love & prayers to all. 💕
I admire, respect, appreciate, and adore Selma Blair beyond words... Such a profoundly beautiful human being. ❤️
WOW & SHE'S 50 YEARS OLD. YOU DID A GREAT SELMA, STANDING OVATION👏👏👏
Her spirit and soul are blessed. What an inspiration to us all. God Bless you Selma❤
Sorry to hear Selma not doing too well with her health I wish her well
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
Probably the most emotional moment in DWTS history.
From a fellow MS warrior who’s aspiring to follow my dreams…I applaud her for doing this! Selma, you give so much hope! ❤
I’ll miss her but she must do what is best for her and her health. She brought so much joy and hope to the dance floor and to us viewers!
I feel for Selma. She did so great where she was. My mom passed from MS related complications three weeks ago. She was 53. She had to give up so much- driving when she was 34, walking at 35… she mastered the art of letting go. Gracefully, just like Selma. I feel for her.
I’m sorry for your loss. 💐
Abigail speaks so well of her Mom and her inner strength. Its such a treasure to think about the good memories and of our loved ones very special ways so that they may live with us and bless us as we grow and experience the different stages of life. 💕
Indeed Selma defines grace inside & out!💃
Incredible woman sending love and healing❤❤❤❤❤

@@aqueminiqueen7 you’re right. But i meant on the show “she was” 🥰
She is so brave and beautiful and has handled her diagnosis with such grace.
Selma Blair has always been special to me. She is a strong role model
I myself have Multiple Sclerosis and this woman is my inspiration ♥️🎗️
I can't begin to imagine moving like this with my MS and I am just in awe of Selma and what she has managed to accomplish, she can be so proud of herself ♥️🙏
Bless her for trying. 🧡 4 dances this week would have been too much anyway. As the competition goes on, it always intensifies, wreaks havok even on athletes. Towards the end, it's down to who can push past it all to get the trophy.
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
so sad to c her go she is such a classy and beautiful.lady God bless her and keep on fighting ur a great example to all of us we r in awe
Give her the trophy!
Kudos to Selma for facing the challenge. As for Shasha, as a caregiver for my husband, who had MS, I salute you for the support you always offered Selma both emotionally and physically. I noticed that more than anything.
Quite simply an incredible, courageous, and awe-inspiring woman. 🙇 ❤
She is truly a beautiful, graceful person but I loved her even more with her natural brown hair color…what a gift…
Selma is the real winner here. Not just on the show but in life. Thank U Selma for your bravery, endurance and strength.
I'm all the way in London and I felt emotional too
She’s an inspiration!! Be strong, Selma!
I'm balling. But then why has not a single doctor been asked before the show ? I don't watch the show anymore so I don't know.
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
She's gotta do what's good for her! Selma is iconic and unforgettable!
Beautiful
Jocelyn Carter: Selma to me, is a wonderful actress! I loved all her movies, especially, That Sweetest Thing. I'm praying for you Selma, stay strong.
Selma Blair looks ingredable young and with her illnesses she has a great stamina she's a winner of this competition.
I'm Stephen from Missouri and you
I applaud her improvement and her bringing more attention to MS, but what isn’t being discussed much is, due to her celebrity status, Blair has received specialized MS treatments which 90% of MS patients cannot receive. Treatments which insurance will not cover or are very expensive.
I wish some media attention would be brought which would allow more MS patients access to those treatments. They obviously have been effective.
Beautiful.....the best Last dance of all time
Our prayers are with you 🙏God Bless you Selma Blair ❤️❤️❤️
Hey what’s up
She’s beautiful. Bravo for her stepping into the ring for those. She would she did a beautiful job
we love you, selma.

I don’t watch the show, but this girl is a stud. I wish her an easy ride.
i have spms ...you selma are a brave strong soul. love you and relate 100%
Omg I cried
How are you
I used to have neck crepitus issues. At one point, those pops kept me from practicing the head-to-the-left in ballroom dancing, but it was not related to MS but it was close. I was even afraid of doing ballroom dancing fearing that I could hear pops in the neck again and feel it. I used to love Dancing With The Stars since I was a college-level ballroom dancer and dancesport competitor too. My neck is better now and I am dancing again.
However....
Selma Blair's exit from Dancing With The Stars - -this is sad - my guess is that with MS---this is a two-fold meaning. MS refers to sclerotic damage to the nerve's myelin sheath (MS) due to autoantibodies in the immune system damaging it, but it also means "multiple areas of fibrosis or damage caused by inflammation"--or hardening - hence multiple sclerosis. My guess is that the nerves of the vestibular area or even the brain need to be in top shape for one to ballroom dance. If those nerves are way off in health in MS, you risk serious things like serious brain fog, serious missteps, being off balance seriously - or even falling down hard on the dance floor and end up seriously hurt.
We will miss Selma on the dance floor.
This also refers to Simone Biles forcing herself to bow out from competing in over half of her Olympic gymnastics events due to the twisties. I am glad that Simone admitted to the twisties to prevent herself from completely losing one's balance in the aerial gymnastics tricks and end up very badly hurt, and end up possibly in a wheelchair.
I agree with you. I have RRMS and everyday has been challenging for me. I noticed if my body is in some sort of stress, my mobility is off. And then there are times I get really numb and stiff and I’m unable to move.
And underneath so many autoimmune disorders is unresolved trauma that affects the entire body, it is an indication of the condition of humanity.
I am glad Selma and Simone listened to their bodies and hope they find some comfort and best case scenario some healing in all the love they have received.
So sorry to hear she can’t stay in the competition. She is truly amazing and was a beautiful dancer despite her MS. Love and prayers.
Salma you are such an amazing brave star!
A true inspiration ❤️
Thanks miss.
She is a rock star,
QUEEN 👸
She’s amazing 😢😢😢
She’s incredible! ❤️❤️
I was wondering if she'd stay cause as much as I wish she could be free from MS,I worried when saw she'd join the cast.
