    One interesting fact: the sound engineers are so good, there is almost no profound echoing in the mosque. Considering how huge the area of the mosque is.

      There will always be echo in places of this size. Because even if all array stacks are time aligned sound doesn't just travel one way and there will be echo. If done right though the echo is a lot less loud then the direct sound though. I can clearly hear echo on the recording not just reverb. The only way to stop echo would be to put sound absorbtion on all surfaces.

    That's actually really cool. The amount of work it must have taken to get all six thousand speakers to work flawlessly and clearly with nine microphones front and center. @@ludwigschonhofer6267 well after a bit of reading up i found that the mosque itself is actually bedouin but then slowly became a muslim holy place as the religion grew.
      as for the comment on idolatry, it seems like you are trying to insult muslims and islam as a whole. instead of berating religion, try seeing what you can learn from it and how it influences the human psychology. clearly it is extremely important to those who believe in it, and thus should not be dismissed simply because its world views do not fit into your own. I personally do not agree with most of what islam preaches, but I feel a greater tool is learning and letting people have their own informed decision on whether or not to believe in a religion. Islam does not force itself upon me, thus i feel it wrong to enforce my world views upon muslims.

    • @ludwigschonhofer6267
      @ludwigschonhofer6267 4 роки тому

      @@Ezox2408 "thus i feel it wrong to enforce my world views upon muslims"
      First of all I never enforced my worldviews upon anyone, I was stating a fact that I found to be interesting. You seem to be very sensitive when it comes to Islam even though you "claim" you're not a muslim so why are you getting offended by something non-offensive to a religion that you allegedly don't subscribe to?
      "clearly it is extremely important to those who believe in it, and thus should not be dismissed simply because its world views do not fit into your own"
      The values of the Nationalsozialismus party were also very important to some germans in the 20th century and still are to a small minority of nazis today and thus should not be dismissed simply because its worldviews do not fit into yours.
      Sounds good doesn't it? or do we only apply your logic to certain ideologies and not others?
      "Islam does not force itself upon me"
      News flash, Islam was spread by the sword since its birth starting by its founder.. How do you think north africa, the rest of the arabian peninsula, pakistan, afghanistan, iran, turkey...etc became muslim majority?
      When Islam has the power, it will force itself upon you that's why I think everyone should oppose it and not give it said power to do so. We like to think that we live in a peaceful time and where no wars will ever take place but in reality, a lot of countries can't wait to wage wars on each other and we should never take the peace we have for granted. If you let the tumor grow, it will eventually get you it's just a matter of time.

    • @Ezox2408
      @Ezox2408 4 роки тому

      @@ludwigschonhofer6267 first of all, I can confirm i am in fact not a muslim, or from any arabic descent. i am in fact french and jewish on my dads side, so not exactly close. i just find religions quite a contentious point of debate and i feel there is already so much xenophobia in the world pertaining to so many religions and races it would be wrong not to stand up for islam when i can. being a bystander makes me complicit.
      now for the fun bit. when i said:
      "clearly it is extremely important to those who believe in it, and thus should not be dismissed simply because its world views do not fit into your own"
      i meant it. simply because someone is a nazi does not mean we should dismiss it. you have to understand the root cause of the ideology, why it came to occur and how it influenced so many people. only then can you stop it (in the case of nazism) as otherwise its like the US fighting in the vietnam war. if you fight against an ideology without trying to change it you will lose. our war on Isis is only barely working because of the sheer volume of innocents and extremists we kill. im not saying to ignore and ideology or to leave it be, im just trying to say not to dismiss it. it instead should be studied acutely.
      "Islam does not force itself upon me"
      by this i meant that in the present day, islam does not force itself upon me in any way. Back in the day everyone invaded everyone. christians had the crusades, alexander the great had his trollop around the middle east and, england and france invaded and essentially created the US. this does not mean that it happens nowadays. In my experience, i havent been told by any religious authority that my world views are 'wrong'. simple that they are not what they like in their religion or ideology. the difference between "wrong" and "not what i believe in" is especially important for this.

    Can I just say that Saudi Arabia gets a lot of flack for not doing enough for the visitors, and for profiting from Hajj, when in fact they do a great deal, and this video is an example of the good the Saudi government is doing in makkah and madinah!! Let’s acknowledge that

    Thank the engineers hard work! I hope they all get to see Jannah, it’s incredible the mics and how there are backup mics in case of emergencies and everything, to make sure nothing fails in the mosque upsetting us the Muslim prayers! Don’t think anything bad about praying, praying doesn’t mean “forgive our sins” it truly means, allah loves you and wants you to show him that you love him to by praying.
