Theres this constant cycle with adam of: drug abuse--->rock bottom--->being clean for a while--->just doing psychedelics and eventually ending up back with drugs again. i really like your content but this definitely isn't the first time it went like this. Hate to see u go through this man, but as a Recovering addict I know the struggle. Some of us are lucky enough to take the gift of desperation when it's given. It doesn't mean it's gonna keep popping up when u need it anymore... some take a million falls and rock bottoms to learn... some go jail or the nearest psych ward... some just don't wake up one day my man. Which one will u be? Pain ends when u want it to end. Sadly ur not done yet and that's ok. It took me 17 long years, 10 of which I was homeless. As soon as one aspect of nature is decoded (ie. one "truth" about nature is discovered if you want to use such terms), that's not the end of the road where everyone gets to now rest on their laurels because the truth is now known. The scientists who made the discovery aren't "set free", because one discovery inevitably leads to further refinements on the theory and even more questions which need to be answered. Sometimes the exact opposite of being set free occurs when a new discovery is made - and you need look no further than Oppenheimer. His contributions to physics were groundbreaking, yet this knowledge opened a Pandora's box and was used by others to build the atomic bomb. And it hardly needs to be said, but scientists aren't just some homogenous group with a Borg-like hivemind that points them all in the same direction. Some scientists are driven by goodwill for humanity, others are driven by selfish motivations which might not directly negatively impact those around them, and others still have purely evil intentions. They all use the same system to achieve wildly differing goals, and that is because science is a methodology - not an ideology.

@Brayden Dempsey a good scientist is one who does science to increase our wellbeing, like people who research cancer drugs, or vehicle safety measures, etc. Bad scientists research things which put put our wellbeing at risk, such as gain-of-function research, and bio/chemical warfare research which includes the horrific medical experiments the Nazi scientists conducted, and what the Japanese scientists did at Unit 731 for example. If you were being experimented on by Nazi scientists I don’t think you’d hesitate to call them evil just because the pain and misery is subjective. Pursuing the truth in order to set people free from misery does make one a good scientist. Science has to be embedded within an ethical framework, and a scientist who fails to realise this has nothing stopping them from sacrificing the subjective wellbeing of others for objective data.
This compound is indeed very popular in Europe, here in Belgium we call it ‘mefi’ & ‘mof’ which is 4mmc & 3mmc. People snort it and they know that they take but it’s super addictive and it’s ruïning many young people’s lives . It’s cheap and easy accessible but the problem is that there are many people starting from 15 that are doing it and have no idea what the danger is. The longer it’s popular the more people are turning against it because of there bad experience with it and it’s heavy addictiveness …
Oof. Yeah. And that can cause problems. Kava about 5-6 years ago come back from people turning against because what was sold as Kava. Either wasn't Kava at all. Or as bad: low grade kava was treated somehow, then served at raves. So you now not only have low grade stuff, made it worse, served to people that are high on Ecstasy and what ever else. Causing sudden liver failure. Causing it to get a hard ban in europe for sure. I think it was banned in america for a while, its still banned in new zealand and australia (mostly). As far as I know the only reason the us and canada ban was lifted was through cheep drug testing at regular bars and raves. Because the driver still wanted a safe buz but couldn't get fucked up.
Scarrier still is this shit from Russia called Krockodile that's a designer drug black box that'll contain god only knows what, including a knock off of morhpine, gasoline and god only knows what else in the cocktail. Not only is it nearly instantly addictive, fucks up your brain, but also eats away at flesh sometimes to bones and people are so fucked up from massive holes in their brain like actual physical holes they ignore the unlreal pain of their bons and veins out the open

Adam, I'm warning you right now. It's always these live experience videos that I see you post right before your family leaves you. Don't let it happen again, you were lucky enough to have them come back to you a second time. Your family is more important than anything else. Don't take them for granted. They deserve the best, don't let this go too far or else you may lose them again. I love the harm reduction factor, but please please please, I say this as someone who has used your videos to show people how to use safely before, and bought tester kits and fentanyl kits as just in case situations. I love that you taught me that. You have some of the best harm reduction videos around, but I can't say that I haven't seen you get right onto the borderline of glorification. Be careful. @@hinglemccringleberry9389 that girl is his wife if I'm not mistaken...the culture of where psych experimentation is going for a lot of ppl is sort of based off of TIKAHL in a lot of ways... Bath salts got big bc they provided alternative and legal and easy to order online sources of natural psychedelic mimicking compounds, when the natural safer ones were harder to source and illegal. But they are unpredictable and not much is actually known about these substances. But what is known is they kill and destroy a lot of lives... Natural psych plants don't have that reputation (although that's not to say death and destruction can't sometimes come of them also). I think he is a very human human...not sure if it's as much hypocrisy as it is him truly believing what he's doing is a positive thing. But promoting these bath salts and the experimentation of them in my opinion is not a good standard to set.

Yo mr psyched substance, your channel came out when I was like 16, perfect timing. I am now an advocate of harm reduction. The biggest help I’ve been able to give is educating the people in my shitty city about the potentially fatal benzo + alcohol interaction. So many people my age drinking (sometimes hard liquor) and taking Xanax. So you could stop making videos tomorrow but the positive impact you have caused would continue to grow. I had a channel that was getting views and it became an addiction, my life became negatively affected by my UA-cam channel. I think you might have an addictive personality too because I see myself in you. Have you ever thought about the people you call friends and what you do together? Do you really enjoy each others time? Idk I’m just worried about you mr psyched substance and there’s nothing I can say that properly describes my thoughts. Adam, I just gotta say it. This ain't it. I know you hate it when we, the viewers, tell you how to live your life - it should be none of our business. But, when you tell us about nearly losing your family in videos like, "My Family Left Me. I was WRONG about psychedelics", how can we stand idly by when, less than a year later, you post a video about doing bath salts with Lauren. It's been difficult watching dilemmas you've faced in the past year. From the family difficulties, to UA-cam shadow bans, I'm sure that doesn't even scratch the surface of what we don't see on camera. The thing is, it's hard to feel happy for + support you in videos like this, when you're also crying out for help in others. I appreciate your "show must go on" mentality to keep pumping out content, but there's been a staggering increase of "doing drugs" content opposed to "safety/harm reduction" focused content. Yes yes, of course you're showing the fact you test the drugs, dosing responsibly, etc., but there's been a shift from informational content to borderline vlogging. It often feels less like "PsychedSubstance" and more like "The Adam Show." I'm a longtime viewer and forever grateful for the countless amounts of lives you've undoubtedly saved through your safety/harm reduction videos. I'll continue supporting you and the channel, but please consider the fact we can tell you're hurting. Especially in this video, I can see the pain in your eyes. I have a feeling that a lot of private life events have recently taken place in Adam’s life that he understandably no longer keeps us informed on. The content of this video reflects that. Personally I believe he’s still the best UA-camr for harm reduction but I would perfer he’d only make trip report videos on safer substances like cannabis and psychedelics.

I absolutely love the vibe from this video. The fact that they were both showing each other their stuff and talking about it. It just reminds me of when I was a kid and me and my friends would just show each other shit and be like "woah omg that's so cool" and sometimes we would just give our friends that toy or whatever and it would make our friend so happy. Money is the causes of all evils and his channel was doing good then it plateaued as he said in previous vids. Old lady knew he had a problem but bounced when the money got tight and using the kid as leverage. He does keep most of his family stuff he deals with out of the eyes of UA-cam viewers. None of us know what actually is going on unless we are in that circle which we aren’t. Only thing that is known is that he’s addict trying to balance family job(content) which also is his revenue. The main focus of his channel was to teach others about substances in a safe manor if you were going to try them. People going to do what they want to do anyways so making a step to step guide on how to take safety when people are reckless. Not encouraging to stay addicted, quite the contrary. Just saying to focus efforts on those close to him (which entails getting clean and taking care of his family). And to not let judgement from strangers online affect his mental health and his own progress and health and wellness
Additionally, you can offer support to someone whilst not passing any judgement and negativity. Showing love, support and empathy is the best way to encourage somebody who has a history with substance abuse to get clean and stay clean. When you make somebody feel shitty for their situation, it often times leads them to more self destructive behaviour.

I've been on 4MMC which is Mephedrone and it's said it's slightly better. Took it for half a year and we took it IV. We shot that stuff and after shooting 80% coke, shooting MDMA, H and other things, I have to say it's the strongest and greatest flash one can have. EVER! It looks like an epileptic seizure from the outside but you yourself feel awesome. I'm in rehab now btw. I don't recommend it to anyone cause it's highly addictive. We couldn't stop! The reason we did stop is we were half dead and out of money. It's the newest most common street drug now in Germany.

@Brayden Dempsey a good scientist is one who does science to increase our wellbeing, like people who research cancer drugs, or vehicle safety measures, etc. Bad scientists research things which put put our wellbeing at risk, such as gain-of-function research, and bio/chemical warfare research which includes the horrific medical experiments the Nazi scientists conducted, and what the Japanese scientists did at Unit 731 for example. If you were being experimented on by Nazi scientists I don’t think you’d hesitate to call them evil just because the pain and misery is subjective.
Pursuing the truth in order to set people free from misery does make one a good scientist. Science has to be embedded within an ethical framework, and a scientist who fails to realise this has nothing stopping them from sacrificing the subjective wellbeing of others for objective data.

Bath salts got big bc they provided alternative and legal and easy to order online sources of natural psychedelic mimicking compounds, when the natural safer ones were harder to source and illegal. But they are unpredictable and not much is actually known about these substances. But what is known is they kill and destroy a lot of lives... Natural psych plants don't have that reputation (although that's not to say death and destruction can't sometimes come of them also). I think he is a very human human...not sure if it's as much hypocrisy as it is him truly believing what he's doing is a positive thing. But promoting these bath salts and the experimentation of them in my opinion is not a good standard to set.

Yo mr psyched substance, your channel came out when I was like 16, perfect timing. I am now an advocate of harm reduction. The biggest help I’ve been able to give is educating the people in my shitty city about the potentially fatal benzo + alcohol interaction. So many people my age drinking (sometimes hard liquor) and taking Xanax. So you could stop making videos tomorrow but the positive impact you have caused would continue to grow. I had a channel that was getting views and it became an addiction, my life became negatively affected by my UA-cam channel. I think you might have an addictive personality too because I see myself in you. Have you ever thought about the people you call friends and what you do together? I was WRONG about psychedelics", how can we stand idly by when, less than a year later, you post a video about doing bath salts with Lauren.
It's been difficult watching dilemmas you've faced in the past year. From the family difficulties, to UA-cam shadow bans, I'm sure that doesn't even scratch the surface of what we don't see on camera. The thing is, it's hard to feel happy for + support you in videos like this, when you're also crying out for help in others.
I appreciate your "show must go on" mentality to keep pumping out content, but there's been a staggering increase of "doing drugs" content opposed to "safety/harm reduction" focused content. Yes yes, of course you're showing the fact you test the drugs, dosing responsibly, etc., but there's been a shift from informational content to borderline vlogging. It often feels less like "PsychedSubstance" and more like "The Adam Show."

Not encouraging to stay addicted, quite the contrary. Just saying to focus efforts on those close to him (which entails getting clean and taking care of his family). And to not let judgement from strangers online affect his mental health and his own progress and health and wellness
Additionally, you can offer support to someone whilst not passing any judgement and negativity. Showing love, support and empathy is the best way to encourage somebody who has a history with substance abuse to get clean and stay clean. When you make somebody feel shitty for their situation, it often times leads them to more self destructive behaviour.

It looks like an epileptic seizure from the outside but you yourself feel awesome. I'm in rehab now btw. I don't recommend it to anyone cause it's highly addictive. We couldn't stop! The reason we did stop is we were half dead and out of money. It's the newest most common street drug now in Germany.
