Spent all that money on a box, subs and amp but couldn't get OFC wire. Don't even care about the build anymore if he's gonna cheap out on one of the most important parts. 😂
Nothing inherently wrong with cca, but with car audio wire the most expensive part is the stranding process of wire. Welding wire is so much better for budgets, same exact current capacity, just less flexible.
@@Wattitdo has nothing to do with the subs. Has to do with box size. Every internal cubic foot add 16 inches of port area. The box I have for my 18" is 6f³ with 96ci²
😂😂😂 this is my shit and was built to specifically to prove a point that you don’t need $5k-$10k to do decent numbers. 153.6 on the glass isn’t terrible for stock alt and my proud ass crack smoking CCA wire because apparently CCA wire means u smoke crack 😂😂 Amp was wired at 1ohm not .5 there was 3 or 4 runs of 0 gauge CCA from front to back with the BIG 3 along with 7 100ah agm batteries and frame grounds to go along with all that🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ i had around 2k in this system. If knocking the next man makes you feel better about yourself then have a fucking ball . It was a BUDGET minded build. Opinions are like assholes, yours just happens to be on your face. 😂😂
It’s super easy to get loud on a budget. The expensive builds put a lot less stress on all their equipment though. Personally though if I ever do a crazy spl build im going to go for sound quality. I’d do full ported midbass doors, tapped horn wall, soft dome tweeters only. Fabrication is the biggest determinant of spl and fabrication is cheap if you can do it yourself.
I paid $200 for amp and 2x15inch subs and that sounded louder than my $850 single sub I just bought lol. Im sitting here thinking...man I should of just stuck with the cheap stuff cause my next shopping list of items to buy to support 2 of the subs i just bought is over 7k lolol. I hear you about budget builds. I prefered budget build cause I didnt care about cooking my subs LOL just throw them away and buy somemore but with this new gear its like I have to treat it like a mercedes and I dont like that lolol.

8k amp at .5 ohm on factory alt.fireworks....imagine that lol
I wonder at full tilt what his voltage dropped all the way down to. Lol 😅
I run an 8k on stock 180a alt. I run a Glowe Voltage series 2. Only dips down to 13.8v from 14.2v. I have 2 runs of 1/0 ofc as well.
Me too but the smart 5 on 2-18s and 270 brand x. Guess I'll run another smart 5 cause the voltage so good.@@girthquake9655
Especially on a full bridge amp🤣🤣crazy
Only guy proud he’s running CCA wire
Only high output this guy has is his crackpipe.
I had high output with your mom last night 💪💯😂

Box needs better internal bracing
Great job!!
If it ain't 28hz n lower, to me, it's just noice !
Freaking awesome
Ive always built my boxes with a port area of 16ci² per f³
Per driver? Would that be the same for 12s and 18s or go bigger for bigger subs?

I have my dd18 at 20 per. 💁 Loud AF on low power and doesn't loss control. 16 is just a starting point or " general rule"..
He is going to run into a lot of problems with that cca down the line. And for goodness sake brace the box
Bass is bass. Bass on dude
At least somebody else can pronounce the name of the amp right

@bassrehab9354 nothing wrong with cca wire.i use it.i just run Xtra runs no biggies.i don't get paid to compete .bass on basshead..

LEGENDARY comeback 😂🤘.. love it
