I have the Delta King 10, I put an Eminence D'Alesandro in it and removed the stock Chinese valves for some quality valves, and the amp has made a spectacular change, today I love how it sounds!! The same thing happened with my AC15 when I changed all the stock valves, the change is quite big for me!!
@@SenfMustard I couldn't tell you why it has improved for me in its entirety, perhaps it is the placebo effect, sometimes we notice more change than there really is, but to me it sounds much better than before, and the investment is not high.
Great review James, thanks. I've literally just got a DK10 this week, absolutely love it! Lovely cleans, great spring reverb, perfect overdriven tone for blues and not too loud for home use. Also it looks awesome with a real vintage vibe (I have the black version) + very reasonably priced. Great job by Supro! 🎸🎸
I recently bought a Supro DK 12. I've been playing my Republic Clarksdale Special tricone with the Lace Humbucker through it. Sounds amazing getting alot of those Mississippi blues old-school down on the bayou tones.
A friend of mine played one of these and I was really impressed with his telecaster tones with just this amp, no pedals. I’ve almost bought one a few times since.
Really cool amp mate, you should try a tele through it, I know its not the same model but Led Zeppelin vol1 was mostly Jimmy Page's Dragon Telecaster through a low wattage Supro amp! I have the Mad Prof Honey Bee pedal which was loosely based on that Supro sound and on low gain I can really nail that Good Times, Bad Times tone, when using my Baja Tele, that pedal into a more mid pushed tweed style amp. Glorious Tones!!!
Wow, such big sound from a small amp. Im sure the name Delta King really peaked your interest. Awsome playing, i could tell you were really enjoying it. mitch from minnesota
I have the DK10. For the money, they're really sweet amps. I also have a much more expensive Swart Atomic Space Tone, 8 inch. The Supro holds its own, and stereo with them both is awesome.
These are fantastic amps. I've recently just sold mine, to fund another purchase. My only disappointment was the distortion circuit. Its far from useful. It should have been on a pot or at least a lower gain circuit. I have tried to get an answer from supro, but no response. Would I buy one again? Yes! Great video as always, keep it up
i got one recently and i prefer the sound of it for bluesy stuff to my dsl40C (Using it in triode mode - 20w) when playing/practicing at home. it squawks, squeals and farts in just the right places. i agree the overdrive is eh...you just have no control (the footpedal does help a little). The reverb is awesome compared to the dsl. the marshall does have one thing, the crunch channel, which this doesn't, okay 2, i can blow the windows out in pentode mode on the lead channels. I haven't mic'd it up yet but i'm thinking a ribbon paired with a 57 would catch the beef as well as the chicken.
Great demo. Why call your single cut beauties a Les Paul? A Les Paul they are not and l suspect them to probably be better. This actually may be an insult to the maker. Why not simply refer to them as my xxxxx single cut?
I had one 4 years ago and sold it within two months for same price I paid. It’s an unremarkable amp with a narrow set of tones. Notice I did not say bad! Simply …. meh. Also reverb was a bit odd.
well built, well welded, good materials etc etc, it's 2000 euros, this sounds pretty good for 500 and for 200 more with new valves and speaker, it sounds very very good, when it breaks I'll throw it away!!! When the 2000 one breaks I'll cry!!!
@ Well built amps are repairable, will last indefinitely, and don’t have to be thrown away. Amps like the Supro are designed for the landfill. In the long run they are a terrible value. Buy nice or buy twice….

@@johnsmith-ug5tp There are amps in the Supro price range that are much better built, fully serviceable, sound great.....the Vox AC15C1, for example , is $700 new and can be found all day long for $450 used.
Definitely want to try and compare some of the other Supro amps! This one is really different and great fun to play 🤘🏼
I’ve a Zinky made Supro Sahara and a Black Magic, love both.
I tell players, Supro’s can bark with authority like a junkyard dog.

I run the GA SC64 Exclusively in all my Fender amps. I was thinking about adding on in my Delta King 12 as well, along with some vintage NOS tubes
Did it increase/improve the bottom end at all?

I’ve had mine for about 6 months, it was the tone that I had been searching for….you won’t regret, especially if you play slow, or play open tunings.
Dude! your playing just keeps improving. Great work.

Sounded really good with the P90 LP. Nice vintage tone.

Really liking this amp. Thank you for a well presented video. Liked and subbed 😊
I have the Delta King 8. 1w amp that is absolutely insane. That is the loudest 1w tube amp I've ever heard. And it is not thin sounding at all.
Drool drool tears tears, lust lust.
Oh!!!! Im sorry. I was admiring that absolutely exquisite Double cut Jr. back there. 😍

Is it just me, or does the supro look like the perfect frame for a UA-cam play button?
Love my Supro Black Magick
How did you get that film look?
What VIBE did you use w. the strat? it sounds very organic w. the amp
I ❤️my DK 10 for the price it’s a great value I like it way better than my Blues Jr III and did y’all know that Hendrix’s first guitar was a Supro?

Supro also makes guitars
there blowing these out at andertons ...
Oh! I would also take that Epiphone amp in the back before I would take that new Gibson falcon.
The name is appropriate, sounds like delta blues.

I had one. It's not an "Amp" - it's a Toy.
And your lukewarm hotdog water.
What a fucking w@nker.
I won't not respond to winning haha
Supro had a great opportunity to make accurate remakes of their originals and went the circuit board route.
So they made an objectively correct choice
They did the right thing, people jerking it over point to points are weird.
No mention of the dodgy build quality that's highlighted elsewhere?
You didn’t play the Strat enough. The other guitars are meh.
Yes, please play the most boring guitar ever more

You should ask some amp techs what they think of the current Supro amps. Poorly built, unrepairable, disposable garbage.
