- Kashmir to Kanyakumari EV record in the Tata Nexon EV where we set 25 India Book of Records. The K2K drive is a test of a machine’s endurance - putting it through a variety of terrain, altitudes and conditions. We drove nonstop with breaks only for charging, adding to the challenge for both man and machine. In the process we set 25 records. This includes the fastest K2K drive in an electric car! In this video, we take you along on this epic road trip - and show you what it was like to drive 4000km in less than four days in an electric car!

Did you guys factor in the 18% tax levied when adding money to the tata ez app because the tarrif used in the video comes out to be 21₹ per KW while it should be 21₹+18%=24.78₹

I have an nexon ev max, since I had an range anxiety for long trips with my family, after seeing this soon I will plan for a trip with my family. I am just glad to see how our county is going towards green vehicle ❤️

No doubt about TATA NEXON’s performance but I would surely comment on one thing- since this whole trip was monitored by Tata management, getting all charging stations in functional state was possible or else for a normal customer, it was not possible to get all charging stations in functioning state 🙌🏻😂
I can bet on it coz in my locality TATA Charging station is mostly shut down whenever I visit there. I can imagine rest of the scenario 😂

Very nice. But a not so fun fact about EVs in India today - you consumed 600 units of electricity to travel 4000km, thereby emitting roughly 430 kg of CO2 while charging. Same as a petrol car giving 20.5kmpl or diesel car giving 24 kmpl. This will ofcourse progressively get better and more renewable energy is injected into the grid. As the grid gets cleaner, the benefits will become more obvious.
No doubt its a miles munching machine, reliable, rugged and super comfortable and easy to the drive at the same time. Driving it from last 6 months and covered almost 15k kms and loving it. More miles to come in coming times.

By your logic then your new cars also should come from manufacturer on road rather than on trains or trucks right.
Kw/unit is calculated as ₹21 but actually it excludes GST. If u add that it will be ₹24.78.

This is indeed eye-opening never would I have imagined this, in terms of infra we are certainly progressing in the right direction in terms of the facility for charging, however, a bit more detailed planning is required on such road trips currently instead of fill it shut it forget it MANTRA which now should be charge it shut it and keep watching😇 Congratulations to all and TATA !!

@@evoIndia congrats for this wonderful achievement... But realistically halt time is more in EV cars than ICE cars.. That's the biggest disadvantage of owning an EV.. Not sure why noone is pointing out this... In ICE cars for travelling 300 kms if it takes 5 hrs, in EV it takes 7 hrs considering you are little cautious on throttle.. Your thoughts on this pls?

what was the total cost of charge as compared to petrol?
Were the default headlight bulb's sufficient for your night drives? I feel its not bright enough. Also which is the car following you at 22:41?
The headlights provided adequate brightness.

@@evoIndia it was good 👍🏻..no issues at all..everything went smooth.. had total 5 fast chargers.. all at msedcl power up chargers.. charging cost was below rs2000 for 1400 kms as it was rs 11.5 per unit against rs25 of others..
