- so this house is located in the city I live and I noticed that before I left for the southern domination tour that the house was left abandon and there was a car on blocks... now several months later I have come back from the tour and it has still not been touched. so I decided that I should go ahead and make it look good for the neighbors. I do not know the property owner but I can sympathize with them on the condition that there house was left in. I know that the Landlord is an easy target for people to attack. ex. "oh if they weren't a slum lord"...etc. etc. look that is shaming the victim of the situation. the only thing that is 100% true in that situation is that the landlord extended trust and gave an opportunity to someone that was not ready for the responsibility's of being an adult.

There's a lot of these yard cleanup videos but none are as good as this guy. His filming, editing and choice of projects as well as his nice personality and overall approach to the work make him a standout.

Ever tried to explain to someone why you watch the channel? If you haven’t, don’t 😂😂😂😂. I tried ONCE. I still can’t figure out why I watched to first one. It was a nice change from watching a guy dig glass bottles - really neat ones that sell for real money - out of long forgotten late 1800, early 1900 outhouse pits. Every video is a history lesson and they are fascinating to watch. See, another one I shouldn’t try to explain 🤦♀️🤷🏻♀️🤣
I Totally Agree!! He is the Very First one I started watching on Lawn Care Juggernaut for probably well, at Least a year and 1/2 or more!! He announced he was making The Boring Channel and I haven't Stopped Since!! Because of Kevin, I watch Cabin On The Hill, Al Bladez, AP on Clean the City, sometimes SB Mowing. I agree!I keep going back for more ! It’s soothing ,calming with the motors going and Kevin’s funny too! Plus it’s such a humbling thing he does and so appreciate his commitment to this way of living. When I was well and raising my sons alone I always was helping others. Took them in for a bed to sleep to get their bearings and make a plan,sold vehicles dirt cheap ,mowed lawns shopped fo4 folks I loved being useful and helping others .
That’s a very healthy lawn compared to neighbors!

I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH COPD THEN AND I'M AT STAGE 4 NOW. I LOVE WATCHING HIM, BUT I GET SAD TOO BECAUSE I LOVE MOWING AND TRIMMING, POWER WASHING.

Sad that people just up and leave a rental. It seemed to me with the condition of the car in the drive, and the fact that they more than likely had children. All it takes is a loss of a job, or a serious illness, can see where something like this could happen. Here it is the kindness of a neighbor helping out when things get tough, that is sometimes. Thanks for being kind, I did notice you closed the lid to the garbage container.❤
Some renters don’t take care of any place they live. They leave without notice in order to break a contract, sometimes in the middle of the night. It doesn’t always mean that something happened in their lives. It also looks like the owner doesn’t take care of the property either. He is just collecting the rent money. I’m glad it’s cleaned up for the sake of the neighbors.

You are a HERO!! You talked about how hot it is everyday where you work, it would help to wear a lighter coloured shirt because it repels the heat as opposed to soaking in the sun and heat. The drone footage was great to see. It is a shame that renters treat things so badly. It stops a lot of people wanting to take a chance to help those that need a place to live. I do hope people see this and realize what they leave behind and that there are faces behind properties, as well as bad actions can stop someone else to gain a chance at living in a great property. So sad. But great work trying to resolve some problems for the owners and the neighbors.

You crack me up the way you find fun in your work...patterns in the dirt when you power wash, now designs/pictures in the weeds! Thank you for stepping up and taking one for the neighborhood. I enjoy watching your videos. In my humble opinion, accountability to the neighborhood essentially begins and ends with the owner. From the beginning, they should vet the renters and when things don't work out, take the responsibliity of cleaning up after them at departure. It's part of the responsibility of an owner/investor to maintain the integrity of the neighborhood he or she has invested in. This isn't shaming the victim/owner/investor, it's holding them accountable as owners as it should be. After all, they benefited from the income and need to take responsiblity for the outcome. It is a matter of good business practice to care about your property and it's maintainance. It is regretable to see property damaged by renters, but months of leaving the outside untouched is inexcusable neglect and it makes the neighborhood the real victim in the end.

I'm disabled and unfortunately, I had to fold my lawn service a few years ago. I tried paying helpers $20 an hour and couldn't keep anyone. I miss mowing ppls yards, which is why I absolutely love your videos. For the disasters that you mow, you make them look as good as they'll ever look without weekly mowings. Side note. That lady looks great, too! Looking forward to your next video.

This one was a real mess. Hope the landlord keeps it up after this. Also, for your own safety, you might want to walk off a yard first to find any hidden treasures before mowing. Really enjoy this channel Kevin! Keep it up. You do such great work. Better than most of the other ones.
Hopefully the landlord finds a responsible and respectful tenant one capable of behaving person as reliable tenant who will keep up the yard and not damage the home. Nor apparently abandons junk in the front yard. I would assume that tenant skipped out on his rental payments -- given that he left behind his trashed vehicle.
He already did that. You think the landlord is responsible for yard work? You don’t even know if the rent was paid up. I’ve had rentals. One guy brought in some motorcycle engines and rebuilt them in the middle of the living room that had brand new carpet in it. Another BOLTED cedar 2 x 4s to the wall. The bolts left holes the size of dinner and dessert plates. It was a home from the 40’s in great shape with plaster walls. Do you know how many people know this skill? Zero. Another couple was 3 months behind in the rent, let the yard go and I had to appear in court because they wanted their $150 deposit back. They couldn’t appear because they were in jail. Another couple did something to the range…….it looked like they had set it on fire. Had to buy another one and the delivery guy said he could not figure out what happened. Believe me…..it’s ALWAYS the renters. I never sprinted through a house ripping holes in the walls, setting appliances on fire and stealing money out of their accounts

Always walk the yard you’re mowing. You never know what you might run over in a stranger’s yard. You could have been injured badly.

You could be the generous one for your immediate neighbor and help yourself at the same time! Don't just watch the Boring Channel, be inspired to love your mowing-adverse neighbor and maybe be appreciated!
Another great job! When you say "the landlord extended trust and gave an opportunity to someone that was not ready for the responsibility's of being an adult", responsibility also extends to the landlord. If they are not up to making sure their property isn't an eyesore then they may not be ready for the responsibilities of being a landlord. Especially when there are two tree stumps left in the front. Tree removal/fallen trees are not a normal responsibility of a renter. I'm thinking that this may not be a rental but a foreclosure.
That is what I was thinking. Cities have ordinances and will notify owner to cut grass or city will cut grass at owner's expense. Owner was responsible.
Or a landlord who never fixed anything (stove, fridge, rodent problem, plumbing... ) and the overwhelmed tenant, who couldn't move, became numb and depressed....!!
My last two places in a row! Ugh.
I never had the extra money after food and clothing and utilities to get my yard done. A friend gave me a push mover. For a while I went out and cut it with scissors, sitting on the ground.... Was a luxury for others, me and my son alone in the world: we need to be able to eat! Food without a decent fridge or stove is every single day to the grocery store and exhausting and time consuming with no vehicle.
We are OK now, have a better job but it still pays nothing to have savings.
The poverty in the US with the rent and groceries up so high is at extreme rates. Exhausted parents. It is shameful.

I have found that you need to have a tight wind with the Black Diamond trimmer line or it can weld in the spool. I run a guard so no probs with string weld on the outside. Its a great trimmer line, cuts very fast with OK durrability. I run the .105 in the Stihls and the .095 in the smaller trimmers. Great work! Thank you for the hard work you put into the community! Lol crop circles. After those I was wondering your process for mowing the back yard, seemed rather erratic until later you did your usual routine. I'm stunned at how bad that house property is after renters. Only seen one worse house after renters. And considering how bad the inside was too... I can only empathize and sympathize with these owners and hope the inside want nearly as bad. So sorry for them. But also grateful for them to you for the amazing outdoor transformation!
