I agree Curtis that Sunny will be back. I'm thinking of it as more of an extended time off versus an actual retirement. What he really wants is time off and I think the hunger will come back.. He's only 28 and it's not like he has taken too many heavy shots.
Do you think having time off will change anything? Sunny doesn't really have the ammunition to knock an opponent out or keep fighters who press off him. His legs won't be any better if he returns and opponents now know their is a chink in his heart
Birmingham a Special fight city for me I remember as a teenager saving my apprenticeship money to attend my first “Big Fight” Chris Eubank v Nigel Benn 1 at the NEC Went to that and I was addicted (Not a bad choice of fight to attend on reflection) Still probably best fight I have seen live and that was nearly 35 Years ago
First time I've seen Yafia, very impressed with his strength and conditioning, he was relentless, didn't give Edwards anytime to settle into the fight. Im glad the ref stopped it when he did, Edwards is still a class act, technically a world class boxer, but was obviously struggling mentally and couldn't impose himself against the overwhelming onslaught of Yafia, who should be looking for a world title shot now on that performance. Great venue and atmosphere at Birmingham. Blades are looking good curtis Top of the championship!
Smaller weights have to graft exceptionally hard to get down to those sorts of weights so understandably they burn out quicker as not many adults walk around anywhere near 8 stone
Smoked 20 a day and weed. His achievement in boxing were epic in all honesty. Nigel Benn was the same smoked constantly through his career amd had what 14 or 16 WBC defences i think 💬?
Galal should go absolutely no where near Bam 😂 didn’t take his head off the line once all night. Bam would absolutely dog walk him, wouldnt make it past 6
Another great video Curtis. Keep them coming, one of the best boxing channels around mate.
Thank you mate

I rate his honesty it must have been tough and we don't want to see anyone get hurt 🥊🥊
Great analysis Curtis! Spot on!!!!
Great analysis. Sunny didn't quit, he just could not continue. He realised it was over.
Yafai looked in great shape he looked a weight class above 🥊🥊

@@El_terrible1985😂😂😂
Id rather get kod than beat up for 12 rds 🥊🥊 love the videos champ 🥊🥊
A good honest video. As others in comments have said, good to see no gloating/celebrating of Sonny's defeat.
That’s not my style bro
Great knowledge and opinion
Be good to see you as a pundit on Sky/ DAZN

I’d favour Bam but I was so impressed with Yafia on Saturday. He was superb, I wouldn’t rule him out

You can't say you wasn't good mate i remember some of your fights you don't win the titles you won just my opinion 🥊🥊🥊
Infact I'm going to go watch you vs Derry I loved that time in boxing there was some great domestic fights and prize fighter what a time 🥊🥊
Sunny's trainer was copying Leon Edwards trainer. Said the same things. Except sharp shooter LOL
