I love 80s music but I was clubbing across the 80s, 90s and early 2000,s when I got married and chilled. I would like to say I miss it. Western music has degenerated. Someone told me recently that almost all the 'pop' music comes from five studios through various networks of publishers. I hope it is wrong but it does sound that way. The 80s were the ultimate indivuality. The music was incredible. The 90s were fun but largely built upon it. I did sets in some great clubs at the time too. Though probably more by connection than talent if I am honest. Though everyone always seemed to have a good time. But now? It is so bland. Its like living in a forest and watching the trees all get bulldozed off and a plain, grey wasteland ahead. Politics has taken over and killed it.
What an amazing time to be a teenager this was. A bedroom full of posters, a stereo with twin cassette decks and high speed dubbing, a Commodore 64 and a box full tapes. For all the fuss about the Thatcher era, life was pretty peaceful and simple. Far less hatred than what's going on now.

1993 walked into Rrios in Sevilla 2am and this came on, we partied until they ran us out of the club at 8am, heading to the train station back to Puerto de Santa Maria.
I always thought this was a total UK banger. Glad to hear it hit the world. Whenever they play this track people go wild. I like todays’ revision that still have the old feel to it.
