Great song, I'm not 100% sure but I think that's Steve Ferrone on the drum kit who after AWB was with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for over 20 years 🎵🥁🎸🎤🎧🎶 peace and positivity to everyone.

Average White Band is a tongue in cheek name for a band of white dudes playing “black” music back in the 70’s. Typically, white dudes played rock in those days. Plus, these dudes are from Scotland, which makes it even more crazy.

Motown, R & B, soft rock was all the rage in the 70’s-early 90’s sadly we don’t really have music/bands like these anymore! Great pick Mug… reminds me of my skating days in those days which included this group along with Bread, 38 special, Michael Jackson, just about all artist with Motown ❤️❤️❤️

AWB are truly fantastic musicians and artists. The sax players have mad skills! I'm pretty sure that this is their own composition. I think I've heard it hundreds of times and it never gets old, man! It's a classic! Your reaction to it was great! I think your next one should be another classic, "Cut the Cake" - a more funky sound.

The one thing that upset me about The Average White Band was they had this great song and then they didn't seem to be able to capitalize on it and really start turning out anything else is good I would have loved to have heard a lot more songs from them or you know songs you think of have words and not all their songs would have words but you know whatever they had to say or play I would like to hurt more this was a really good song and I really enjoyed all the instrumentation of it I just wanted more of it they didn't seem to have a lot more to follow it up with.
