The homes are $100,000 cheaper than Chandler and everyone works in the city. Chandler is 30 min away. My husband works in TEMPE, 45 min drove but he starts at 5:30 am so no traffic. He does hit traffic on that 347 in the afternoon but it’s really worth it to us. It’s a small town family community and we LOVE it. Been here since May. That was a bad move the homes are the same price in Glendale and in Maricopa. Value of homes is not city to city it happened all over the United States. The homes in Maricopa are $300,000 $400,000 right now
@@porfiriato84 I looked there are no homes for sale for that price u mentioned on Zillow. All the homes I’m seeing in Maricopa are between $300,000 - 600,000 k. As a mention before, the homes there will get more expensive because more people are moving there, they should be at minimum $700,000 by the end up 2024
I've lived in Phoenix all of my life ( 48 ) years and I used to dove and quail hunt east of Maricopa, and now instead of hunting, I can go to the movies and gamble my money away. Arizona is still a great place to live. Awesome video 🤪🤙
Flash forward to 2023, for those of us who have to drive in to work, it's an absolute nightmare on the 347. People drive like maniacs on this road. It's only 2 lanes and there are multiple accidents that cause us 20-60 minute delays to our destination. If I could do it all over again 5 years ago, I would have paid the extra money and stayed in Tempe or Chandler.
Jeff I enjoy your videos and this is a good overview of Maricopa. I own 2 houses in the last subdivision you drove through and it's a very nice community.
I drive in Maricopa everyday to get to 238 in the video one of our tankers drove north bound. But yeah the only thing that sucks is 347 is always packed In the morning and evening. Especially at rigs rd and the plant light. God forbid they get a fatal accident usually happens around rigs road. Then its screwed up and you gotta go down to like casa Blanca or go straight out to casa grande just to go to Maricopa.
I used to live there I was born in Florence raised in Maricopa on full car road hidden valley and it looks a lot different now than what it did back then

You aren't from AZ are you? The pronunciations of Harahs and Pinal made me cringe and laugh at the same time. I recently moved to Maricopa after growing up in Phx (43 years in phx) and I love it here. I may miss out on a few conveniences out here, but that doesn't override the peace I feel living here. I am so glad I made the decision to move here. It's beautiful and peaceful!!

It really is bad and you made a great point for ppl looking to move here who have to commute. If I didn't work from home, Maricopa would be a no go. Their HORRIBLE internet alone was almost a no go but it worked out. If you work from home please consider that you may only have a dsl connection, max 40 mps available. But long story short, I love it here, multiple internet bills and all lol.

We are just moving out of Glendale and into Maricopa it'll be a 50 minute drive for me too as opposed to 30 minutes now but love the area!

Is there any word on expanding the 347? I'm interested in moving to Maricopa but I have heard how bad that highway can get.
