I love Douma's character. A lot of people only hate him because his backstory isn't traditionally "sad" enough and he doesn't get "redeemed" but his character is so much deeper than that. It just shows how well written of an antagonist he is
I think alot of people only hate him due to either A.) he took a waifu away from them or B.) the fact some people ship him with said waifu Honestly Douma is a well written villain, and if people hate him? Good he's doing his job properly.
@@harutothefriendlyodst7639 exactly, the fact that people only dislike him because of him killing Shinobu is just stupid. Why would you hate someone just because they killed your waifu? Without even going deeper in their character ever!??
@@lheeloriega418 I agree. I love rengoku but I didn't hate akaza for killing him because he was just doing what muzan would have wanted and he acknowledged rengoku as being a strong opponent. I dislike douma because there's nothing redeemable about him lol and like shinobu too. I will give douma credit for having a dope character design though plus he's a good antagonist
Fun fact: The creator of demon slayer confirmed that they made a mistake about the amount of poison shinobu had. It actually was 700 TIMES the lethal amount to kill the average demon.
It’s so hard to believe that douma is stronger than Akaza even tho it’s literally facts. Douma is upper moon 2 for a reason. I wish we could’ve seen more out of douma like we did akaza. Akaza had an amazing fight against giyu and tanjiro.
Yeah they're very close in terms of strength. The only thing holding Akaza back from being Upper Moon 2 would really be that he doesn't kill females due to his past. For Douma, gender doesn't matter.
Well I always described Douma as the fate version of Gilgamesh he’s op & could’ve won if he wanted to however his arrogance got the best of him simple as that lol 😂

@@kingflocka6501 Oh thank god, I was so worried, because I’ve just finished the Mugen Train arc this morning and I’m absolutely devastated about Rengoku, he was the reason that I actually got interested in Demon Slayer to begin with. I seen a cool statue of him & thought he looked amazing, and now I’m shattered. I don’t usually get emotionally attached to characters, but I am very new to Manga & anime, I’ve only read American comics for the last 15 years & the Manga characters are just so beyond them that it’s not even funny. My entire time reading comics I’ve never actually cared about any character, but I love these characters almost as if they’re real people. I’m just so sorry I’m getting into Manga/anime so late, but at least I’m here now.
We don't know the real power of the big top 2, it's like a joke, I think it's not in the manga at least, but it's better than nothing if they make a 1 minute image showing its real power
yeah we never saw kokushibo, douma, and even akazas full power, but if they did go full power from minute one, they would have prolly won their fights, especially doma, since he could have killed inosuke and kanao if he wanted to at the start using his mahaberate buddah statue and his ice clones and kokushibo could have kept fighting as well. all top 3 basically just ended themselves by not regenerating their heads, they werent defeated, they basically committed suicide.
I personally like Douma's character. As a character with no emotion's, Douma shows us what oneself could turn into, no empathy, sympathy, envy or even anger... just a husk, a body with no real drive other than 'helping' people in a way he saw fit. and the drive that they put them selves to work for, being so 'important' t them, as it's one of the only thing's that give their life meaning, personally I think if Douma was taught wrong from right as a child, and had different heritage, he'd be a completely different character, just sad to see that he grew up to be that.
From what I see, even as human, douma had no humanity He's not like akaza who still had his moral compass even as demon, just nothing human inside him. That's kinda irony bc douma remembered people (like, EVERY people he ate) and he even shed tears. Just no humanity, no emotions.
@@tdcblue3900 To be honest, that sounds like torture. The closet things he can feel to emotion is either sadness or happiness, both are forced. He was never emotionally attached to anybody or anything. This is why he never regrew his head, he has nothing to fight for. Awesome villain.
probably would had take 3 hashiras just like the first moon, but not because of fighting skills but more cus his blood demon arts were broken as hell, and pretty much undodgeables
@@electric6247 I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices that. While he doesn't have a tragic backstory or a tragic character there is still tragedy within his backstory even though it obviously doesn't affect him as we have seen.
@@cchen-wq2nm Yes there is tragedy in his backstory but you can clearly tell that the sad things that happen in his life don't affect him because human emotions were nothing to him even before he turned into a demon
I like Douma. He is the representation of what one could be like if born with almost no emotion or empathy. He is clearly very dangerous but was outplayed in the end. His lack of understanding of emotions and the like made him vulnerable to certain sneak attacks as he would often lay down his guard in order to experience something he does not understand. Given that he is very powerful, it's a habit one would develop eventually. Etc etc. I kinda relate.
I like his character too, he's a loathesome person, but he's also pitful. Can you imagine being born without any emotion, like that of a hollow tube and forced into a position of being considered a connection to God as a child after witnessing his parents off each other? Not only that, but considering how he was considered beautiful due to his unique eyes and him as a young boy against a group of cultists, it really doesn't look good for him. Like Future Diary Tsubaki's own history in her own cult. I wouldn't be shocked if it was the same for him.
Kanae Kocho is extremely strong, literally fighting Doma until sunrise and her sword was snapped with barely any physical injuries, it was stated by Doma he wanted to eat her but could since the sun was rising meaning she got his attention but because of the battle he couldn’t eat her, when Shinobu was fighting Doma he told her she lacked Kanae technique/talent meaning she was very skilled and it was stated for Kanao she learned Flower Breathing by watching Kanae which in further explanation means Kanae can use all the flower breathing techniques shown and maybe 1st and 3rd form aswell
@professional doggo Why would he toy with her if he said he really wanted to eat her? He stated he couldn’t because of the sun but he’s been shown to eat Shinobu less than a minute so why could he do the same to her? Also, why would he tell Shinobu she lacked her sisters talent?
@professional doggo yeah it was never stated how long the battle was; however, if he could tell by just her talent that ment she lasted 2-3 hours, and honestly in my opinion I think she’s strongest hashira that didn’t gain a demon slayer mark, Rengoku second but again Doma is stronger than Akaza and he’s ranged unlike Akaza who’s mostly melee
To me, the fact that Douma can't regenerate his head is because he lacks the sheer survival instinct that Akaza and Muzan had. Not to disregard Shinobu's sacrifice, but I think that if Douma genuily wanted to survive he would've regrow that sh*t
People often forget he’s a psychopath. Life and death are meaningless to him, even his own. I agree, the will to survive has to come from caring about living and Douma doesn’t care about anything.
His appearance is the most beautiful in the characters of books, and his personality is the worst . He don't understands the others feeling , also He often laughs at opponents who try to beat him. He is graceful and gentle but indifferent and cruel at the same time . He is a wonderful heartless villain
I think he didn't regrow his head because to attain this feat he must have had great determination in continuing living, but he is empty so he would never go next step in evolution
@@exshadowkick5564 at first they wanted to live and regenerated their heads, then they gave up but it's not instantaneus. They both tried to prevent regenerating but it wasn't enough to kill themselves. Also demon slayers didn't behead them so in theory there was nothing they should have died for but they did. I think the reason is that they lost their will and that also would explain why douma didn't even stop disapperaing. If you recall in fact both akaza and kobushibo stopped dissapearing before regenerating but douma even if weakened by the poison and unable to regenerate he didn't stop dissaperaing. The image i have of this overcaming beheading is like being a man of sand who is slowly crumbling but with enough power and will they could grab the sand falling and put it back to place forever. When there was no more will to do so the man started crumbling again. Also as you mention the fact that akaza kept regenerating is very deep because he kept regenerating after seeing his past, his dad and his teacher, but it wasn't enough to stop chamge his mind, and then his future wife (which is strange to say considering they were both about 10yo) comes in and at that piint he completely surrenderd shopping how deep was his affection for her. However it is undeniable that douma was weakened and so even if he stopped dissapearing he couldn't regenerate so that would not have changed much.
@@marcomartina4690 again... The only reason why douma couldn't regen his head was bcuz the poison weakened his body too much... No demon would've regen their heads if their body was weakened by poison like douma... Both akaza and kokushibo would die with that amount of poison
That Kokushibo believes he is superior than Akaza already implied a lot. Douma was unbeatable until he ate Shinobu. He was unhurt until the poison took effect after he ate Shinobu. Poison from her sword just didnt affect him. I never thought Akaza to be stronger than him. Shinobu just took advantage of all the data she had on him and was prepared to fight him, even sacrificing herself. He probably had lots of Muzan’s blood on him, and that he eats healthy, young women a lot. Some might think that it only took Kanao and Inosuke to kill him, but you have to acknowldge that Shinobu had to pump herself with poison and had to be devoured and dissolved for his head to be cut. He was that monstrous.
He was much more powerful than Akaza and closer to Upper 1... Shinobu could have killed Muzan if he absorbed her as well....so Doma insane. Also one strong female fight.
akaza: was killed by suicide and chopped once by tanjiro with giyuu's help and almost killed by rengoku douma: shinobu was not a dime of his power and also kanao and inosuke but the amount of wisteria poison he digested when shinobu sacrifices killed him overall opinion: if it wasn't the wisteria poison is the thing that killed douma, he can regenerate too since wisteria poison can somehow stop regeneration and if akaza fought with shinobu instead of giyuu i think he wouldn't be able to regenerate his head because of the poison so overall douma is superior
Now it makes even more sense why Muzan spared Enmus life (lower moon) and gave him more blood - because of how much he reminded of Douma in his psychopath personality behaviour, complete lack of fear etc. He probably thought he could get another Douma in Enmu when it comes to demon strenght.
In the second fanbook it is stated that: 1.Doma was sometimes consulted by his believers, and seeing them crumble under the weight of their desires, be it for money, status or love, seemed to be too folish for him, but he felt curious what the feeling was like. He had money, status, and almost an immortal body, but he didnt feel anything special, so he switched partners* every now and then to try to play the childish game of love. *the kanji that is used for partners its a word that means gender neutral, so it might be implied/inferred Douma might have been bisexual. Take that as you will. 2.Despite Douma's loyalty and worship of Muzan, Muzan didnt like him. It seemed in Muzan's experience, he had determined those without strong attachments or cravings wouldn't evolve greatly as Demons. Even so Douma seemed to have more talent than the others, since he was able to rise up in ranks as Upper Moon Two. 3.When Douma was 20 years old, he met Muzan and was turned into a demon. He was so moved by his encounter with the latter he made Muzan the god of the Eternal Paradise Cult. 4.Douma often complained about Akaza's special treatment( which was the permission Muzan gave him/Akaza to not eat women). 5. THIS IS AN AKAZA ONE BUT IT MENTIONS DOUMA TOO🙂 Akaza could share his thoughts and sight with Demons lower ranked than him(as much as Muzan allowed) and had complained to Muzan endlessly of Douma bothering him when the latter became Upper Moon Two. This was the only time Akaza complained to Muzan.
Correction. According to the author herself, the lethal amount that Shinobu delivered with her whole body was 700 TIMES and NOT 70. Just thought I should know.😉😉😉

Exactly like Kanao has very good eyes and Inosuke has great senses and still both of them didn't feel that their stuffs were stolen by Doma. Like!??! He's so fast lmao
I think that was Doma’s biggest flaw his need for bravado and to torment. If he got over that and was able to just be efficient he’d maybe even rival Kokushibo :))
@@eitan_23 hold on there pal. kokushibo uses breathing techniques, you know, that stuff that made tanjiro from useless to being able to cut trough a massive boulder. breathing techniques arguably increase a human´s strength at least x20 times. kokushibo also has a demon slayer mark and access trough the transparent world, while having the body of a demon with the highest amount of muzan blood (besides muzan ofc). he also uses the second most powerful breathing in existence. douma is extremely dangerous against humans, because ice is inherently lethal and the frost clouds he creates put slayers on a clock and deal massive unavoidable damage, but against a demon his ice powers are much weaker, he would depend on his physical power and ice statues to fight kokushibo alone, who is faster, stronger and has bigger range, and also gets stronger too by absorbing humans
It makes perfect sense him not going all out with that personality of his. For him using his full power against them would have been the same as admitting that he wasn’t unbelievably superior to them

@@InfamyOrDeath-__- Doma easily defeated Shinobu and ate her.Theres freaking....! 34 kilograms demon poison inside her body. That literally start weakening Domas body end up weakening him.
Doma is definitely the best villain and demon character overall in demon slayer, even surpassing Muzan in human traits, Doma has no humanity, he was a husk living a facade and existed because he was brought into the world having no motivation, no joy or sadness over killing or doing what he did. He was an immortal empty shell that plays the part of how they are perceived and how they expected to act. This is why I feel so many people love Doma, his design, BDA, Personality and even his backstory is being a centered character with Kanao, Inosuke and Shinobu - even his fight (Arguably the best between Kokushibous and Domas) was a spectacular and in-tense filled ride. Overall Doma left a big impression on me moreso than any demon after the manga concluded - but my personal favorite demon will always be Hantengu. The way he acts in lies, making it seem like Shinobu had the Upper-Hand while he played defenseless shows his compulsive need to lie and play with his victims.
@CEREBRUS His ifght was the most intense and best written and one of the best visually, Kokushibou doesn't have any personality nor character and his BDA is boring, the only good thing about him is moon breathing. Akaza is overrated.
@CEREBRUS Douma literally has entire videos showcasing symbolism of his character, his blood demon art, he is a psychopath who is completely empathetic and lived for over a century leading a cult of worshippers he sustains himself on, he was even shown to be completely a void, having no concept of pain or care. Kokushibou on the other hand is a jealous twat who died to 3 Hashira despite being UM 1, meanwhile Douma slaughtered Shinobu, led an entire revenge arc, gave us Inosuke, Kanao, Shinobu, Kanae - needed their combined might and Tamayo's augmented Poison to beat. Meanwhile Kokushibou came into the story with no relevance other than he was edgy, and hated his brother, he was so badly written that for some reason he was revealed to be Muichiro's ancestor one fight before his death LMAO that held no relevance to the plot, it was a pointless reveal as Muichiro died 4 scenes later. Kokushibou was barely in the manga, in-fact he only had 3 scenes LMAO it's not my fault you like shit characters but don't be so ignorent, Kokushibou is dog-shit. Douma's fight was intense because there was build-up, Douma took not 1 but 2 sisters of Kanao and took Inosuke's mother fueled by rage the entire visuals were intense, he had killed thousands of woman and was a complete 'true demon' he left Kanao blinded all while just toying with them. Kokushiubou went all out and lost ALL WHILE HE WAS IN HIS PRIME to a 14 year old, 2 20 year olds, 1 and a demon who's weaker than Nezuko, he got his ass handled to him, there was not even a challenge, no tense, it was just a slaughter of Kokushibou getting slashed and raging.
@CEREBRUS Kokushibou has no character-arc you donkey, he's only in the manga and anime by extension, 3 times, he has the lowest screentime, even Gyokko had more screen-time. 1: Kokushibou appears, chops Akaza arm off, leaves. 2: Kokushibou turns up on Kaigaku and turns him ( I guess boring, badly developed characters stick together, no wonder the author picked Kaigaku) 3: His 'fight' aka him getting shredded and dying, only to be revealed he was the brother of Yoirrchi (WHICH HAS ZERO RELEVANCE TO THE REST OF THE STORY AS HE'S DEAD, his character was so boring and inconsequential that he didn't affect anyone, if you removed Kokushibou from the story literally nothing would change you could replace him with anyone else and it would still run smoothly, that's embarassing of a character and terrible writing. The author even admitted they rushed his character, he had no tie-in, no relevance, a flashback that was pointless and just a way for us to 'feel sorry' for him meanwhile he was trying to commit genocide and became a demon just because he wanted to be stronger than his brother, like that was supposed to make us sad about him. Douma's character on the other hand is connected to the plot, he gave us Inosuke, Kanao, Shinobu and Kanae and by extension of their characters he created an entire massive chunk of the narratrive, he also was tied to the revenge arc and had the most screen-time of the UMs. Shinobu literally hunted him, made a plan with the aid of Tamayo hoping to end him, meanwhile 14 year old Muichiro stumbled upon Kokushibou...okay...Kokushibou outclassed Muichiro in a 1v1...okay...not like we've not seen demons do that before. Sanami comes in gets his finger chopped off...okay this guy is looking kinda cool, let's see what they do with the UPPER-MOON 1...make him 'sigh' a lot, have no character, barely any dialogue, get unsteady by Gyomei and then slaughtered by all 3 of them combined. What a fucking disgrace of the UM 1, Douma would've made more sense of that title but instead we have a Yoirrchi 2.0 who's edgy and jealous and wants to become stronger than his brother...that's his only character trait if you can even call it that. He has no significance, like dog shit on the street, a withering fart that went into the atmosphere, dogshit. You could've replaced him with a wooden stick and somehow that would've been better than the 6-eyed, moderately cool character copy of Yoirrchi's design that we got.
@CEREBRUS Talk properly|? I'm typing you delusional 'Kokushibou fan' even though there's nothing to fan over, said it before I'll say it again it's not my fault you like shit characters. I'[ve gave proof and reasons for why Douma is the best outside of personal preference something you failed to do, instead commenting on the only trait of Kokushibou like it's unique. How many animes have brothers hating eachother? You just spent all that time repeating the exact same thing you repeated in your earlier comment but just added 10x more words to it, reading this junk of a paragraph you've repeated...When I typed did I say over and over again about 1 element of the character? No...You just type about Kokushibou and his brother, which every anime has elements of sibling rivalry it's nothing new. You even just admitted it was stupid the final fight so your previous comment remark about it being the 'best' fight is hypocritical, it proves the author rushed Kokushibou's character. Kokushibou had zero relevance because nothing he did added to the story, love how you didn't comment on that. If Muichiro lived he would've added to his character figuring out he was related to Yoirrchi but he didn't he died, it was pointless and was rushed> Again not my fault your 'opinion' is shit.
Idk why but douma is my favourite demon, not even kidding....like this man literally costed a hashira's life and one of kanao's eyes to die even when he was not on his full potential, with that sharp smile and deep eyes, no one can resist that douma was a hard deal ...I love him, definitely
I felt he just got too cocky thinking his blood demon magic and his speed will always give him a victory, he probably would've if he hadn't devoured shinobu which lead to his downfall because he knew his power was weakening when his ice dolls were shattered and knew the other 2 were coming for him at his weakened state.

Douma is my favorite upper moon. If you just looked at him you wouldn't think he's anything much, but he's actually the third strongest being in the world. I also love how he praises everyone worth praising, but he does it from a belittling standpoint.
I'm probably alone in this, but Douma was my favorite character after finishing Demon Slayer. Not only was he powerful, but he had a complete disregard for morals and sympathy, and a subtle arrogance shrouded behind the innocence of his own insanity. Made his dialogue and interactions with other characters that much more interesting, I just wish we got to see more of him considering how important he is to the overall story. Not to mention his eyes are mesmerizing.
I think Douma felt emotion only one time in his life and that was when he met kotaho (inosuke's mother) as he was hesitate to kill her ( Muzan had to interfare to presue douma to eat kotaha )
Too bad, Douma don't have intention of eating her cuz he's beautiful and Douma enjoys having her by his side. At the end Douma eat Kotoha and says “Kotoha's life was already pointless and meaningless”
You can see Douma's last BDA to be a shaky technique, the ice boddhistava he summons appears to be constantly melting, unlike his previous ice manifestations which had a much more polished appearance.
if the ice clones melted and they require concentration then its not too far off to assume that he was just less accurate with boddhistava at that moment
Would love to see a more emotional side of Douma too, but judging with his actions, I don’t even know if he has one. Especially since he only saw Inosuke’s mother as a new play thing, called her stupid for finding out the truth about him, then killed her.
This video was worth the wait and I admit Douma is my favorite villain I don’t doubt that any hate he receives is well earned. I am so looking forward to his appearance in the anime but not losing another favorite hashira. RIIP Shinobu and go @#%* yourself Douma.
It’d be interesting to see a fight between Douma and Kokoshibou, mostly because I wonder how the ice dolls would fair along with Douma going all out, it’s be a 7 on one fight (if not more, because who knows how many dolls he could actually make), the main thing that seemed to be against Douma was that he was never serious, if he didn’t get poisoned then they never would have stood a chance.

That's useless if Douma and Akaza were to fight. 🙄 Plus, he could've regenerate his head too but his body was too busy fighting the poison
I loved Douma. He was one of those characters you "love to hate". When it comes to the deadly sins, it is easy to say that Pride is the foremost sin. Douma is basically pride, distilled and concentrated. He didn't think he was ever in any true danger so he just played with his enemies, giving them the chance to strike when really they shouldn't have won. One thing Demon Slayer is so good at is portraying how power isn't everything in these fights. A major factor yes, but not the only factor.
@@goodbye6676 I'd say that his behavior is more emblematic of the sin of pride than any other. When Akaza attacks him Douma is completely unconcerned and needles him further after Akaza gets his arm sliced off. He again refuses to take seriously Shinobu, going as far as to mock her while facetiously telling her she will live peacefully as a part of him. Then later facing Kanao and Inosuke, he, again and again, mocks their efforts. He outclasses them both so much that he can create miniature versions of himself that are still able to beat them. He is soloing 3 Hashira level fighters so effectively that he doesn't need to put forth his best effort. So we never actually see Doma fighting at his best because he has underestimated - literally - every single person he has fought. That is the epitome of pride.

@@goodbye6676 No, he is actually absorbing them. He exchanges barbs with the two Hashira he had absorbed, and they take some satisfaction in his death. He is, in a way, a prison for the souls of people he absorbs. Muzan is the only other demon shown doing this to my knowledge, demonstrating that this is a very rare ability that only a couple of demons are able to perform. Muzan shows a much-enhanced version of this ability, going as far as to probe the mind and memories of people he has absorbed. With Doma specifically, it is quite possible this is how he came to learn of Shinobu's inability to fully decapitate demons. But we can infer this is a lesser version of Muzan's ability or he would have learned about the Wisteria much sooner than he did I imagine.
Just you lol, dude was evil as hell….more than Muzan. But, that also shows how good of a villain he was. A lot of animes could use a character like him.

From what I see, even as human, douma had no humanity
He's not like akaza who still had his moral compass even as demon, just nothing human inside him. That's kinda irony bc douma remembered people (like, EVERY people he ate) and he even shed tears. Just no humanity, no emotions.

The part where Kanao calls Douma out was so savage, but his expression was genuinely quite chilling.
Tbh both her and inosuke's words were savage and badass, like when inosuke said to Douma "if hell didn't exist he'll create one for him"
Douma was like, "Free hugs!" when he devoured Shinobu.
bro how many times did you comment lol?
He was that monstrous.

was killed by suicide and chopped once by tanjiro with giyuu's help and almost killed by rengoku
douma:
shinobu was not a dime of his power and also kanao and inosuke but the amount of wisteria poison he digested when shinobu sacrifices killed him
overall opinion: if it wasn't the wisteria poison is the thing that killed douma, he can regenerate too since wisteria poison can somehow stop regeneration and if akaza fought with shinobu instead of giyuu i think he wouldn't be able to regenerate his head because of the poison so overall douma is superior

In the second fanbook it is stated that:
1.Doma was sometimes consulted by his believers, and seeing them crumble under the weight of their desires, be it for money, status or love, seemed to be too folish for him, but he felt curious what the feeling was like.
5. THIS IS AN AKAZA ONE BUT IT MENTIONS DOUMA TOO🙂
Akaza could share his thoughts and sight with Demons lower ranked than him(as much as Muzan allowed) and had complained to Muzan endlessly of Douma bothering him when the latter became Upper Moon Two. This was the only time Akaza complained to Muzan.

Ikr!?!??!
2: Kokushibou turns up on Kaigaku and turns him ( I guess boring, badly developed characters stick together, no wonder the author picked Kaigaku)
3: His 'fight' aka him getting shredded and dying, only to be revealed he was the brother of Yoirrchi (WHICH HAS ZERO RELEVANCE TO THE REST OF THE STORY AS HE'S DEAD, his character was so boring and inconsequential that he didn't affect anyone, if you removed Kokushibou from the story literally nothing would change you could replace him with anyone else and it would still run smoothly, that's embarassing of a character and terrible writing.
If Muichiro lived he would've added to his character figuring out he was related to Yoirrchi but he didn't he died, it was pointless and was rushed>
Again not my fault your 'opinion' is shit.
Idk why but douma is my favourite demon, not even kidding....like this man literally costed a hashira's life and one of kanao's eyes to die even when he was not on his full potential, with that sharp smile and deep eyes, no one can resist that douma was a hard deal ...I love him, definitely
I love that the heroes never gets strong enough and have to use other methods to win. Unlike the big 3. The heroes always remain human.
i really wish we saw douma full power. he’s literally upper 2 and we couldnt see his whole strength

Douma seems similar to Dio as a villain, both cocky, very powerful and both lost because they toyed with their opponents instead of giving it all
Douma is my favorite upper moon. If you just looked at him you wouldn't think he's anything much, but he's actually the third strongest being in the world. I also love how he praises everyone worth praising, but he does it from a belittling standpoint.
@CEREBRUS lol
I LOVE HIM TOO
I love him too!!! I wish people could understand him better before judging him as an bad villain.
i agreee i love him
I think Douma is awesome tbh
One of the best looking characters in the series.
Agreed.

YES
I think Douma felt emotion only one time in his life and that was when he met kotaho (inosuke's mother) as he was hesitate to kill her ( Muzan had to interfare to presue douma to eat kotaha )
Too bad, Douma don't have intention of eating her cuz he's beautiful and Douma enjoys having her by his side. At the end Douma eat Kotoha and says “Kotoha's life was already pointless and meaningless”
Douma is my most favorite Upper moon out of all!! he has such an interesting personality & character. such a twisted mind yet so cool.
I swear everyone will forget what douma did if ufotable makes him too beautiful in the last eps of EDA

Douma would get wrecked by Kokushibou
Kokushibo will just blitz domas head of I think.
Because even muichiro couldn't keep up with him.muichiro is stronger and faster than shinobu so that alone tells use that kokushibo can blitz doma's head off.

Y’all to me the best fight in the series is probably the Kokushibo fight most def. I just read the manga for that fight and man did it make me drop my mouth! This fight with Doma is my second favorite fight but to me Kokushibo fight was a showstopper. And by the way, Kaigaku is the most hated character to me not doma.
Oh I hate that little shit, after everything he has done. I glad he got clapped by the one he considered to be trash.
Yeah. A lot of people hate Douma but there's also a lot of people that love him. With Kaigaku.. His fans are hard to come by
Douma was a horrible person, but still, I feel bad for him. Imagine being unable to feel any emotions, being empty inside. It sounds like torture.
Not really. As a person that could never feel anything, he wouldn't be missing out on anything because he doesn't know what it's like. His lack of emotions intrigued him to be curious about feeling them but I'm sure he would not be upset if he never did.
The funny thing is the most vile demon is the most human looking one lol.
Akaza: I cannot eat or hurt women even as a demon
Douma: Shawty lookin like Fruitloops give me that snack Boi

Strong enough to where he nearly killed Inosuke and Kanao despite being pumped full of several pounds of poison.

Douma was playing with them the whole time, if he had gone in seriously it would have been different. Its honestly good that he ate Shinobu first, because if he had faced them 1 vs 3 at the beginning, they would have lost. His abilities and clones, he didn't even have to fight himself and that Statue at the end would have ended all of their breathing attacks.
bruh that's his problem, he cant go serious because he had no feelings, that's the only thing that nerfing him. imagine if he had a normal feelings like normal person, he would be broken
Love the video keep up the great work
The fact that Doma fell in love with Shinobu in Limbo is hilarious to me. Nearly everything about his character is hateable, but he finally learns how to feel after getting defeated. I would've kicked his severed head to the next level of hell. Smh
Same.it was the most hilarious way for me to end his character😭
Eternal torture or a few lives when reincarnation exists in said world wonder who is the crueler you or Douma 🤣
You have no idea how many Fanarts I have seen of Doma and Shinobu Together people were not kidding when they made those Fanarts
Douma is like Kenpachi Zaraki (Bleach) Just wants to play around all the time because he is bored of beating people. Never take anything too serious and actually put himself at a power disadvantage just to make themself feel like is more of a competition. But when they do get serious. Hell does break lose.
Shinobu: Forget Tomioka-san when there’s the demon who killed Née-san

For me, the two demons in the entire story that I didn't feel any sympathy for are Douma and Kaigaku.
Gyokko and hantengu too

Douma is the most human-looking demon among the upper moon. Yet his personality is the most demonic one
At last someone said it... Douma was so OP that the writer had to nerf him... If he wasn't poison, muzan would've definitely won the battle because douma powers were just that broken
I ain't surprised considering he could freeze the rest of them with just a wave of his fans, his ice would put down practically everyone if he lasted into last arc. Inosuke was a Godsend to back up Kanao because he was so intuned with own senses he could avoid Douma's ice.

I have to disagree on not having a pitiful background.

Idk he seems like greed to me
Daki seems more like pride
@@daniell1483 but he likes to eat women alot so him toying with them and eating them and says they will be apart of him even though he's just killing and devouring them
@@goodbye6676 No, he is actually absorbing them.
