- Note: I am posting this video for a second time as the first post had the segment about the correct MB Manual Technical Note missing, which I think is a important piece of information!
Getting my AC ready for the spring and summer. Most O-Rings are shot, so I started with the compressor and its manifold.
Selecting the correct PAG 46 oil for R-134a is important so is finding the correct manuals - Авто та транспорт
Great video! That’s my next job on mine.
Good day,
What is the size of the rubber O rings.
Many thanks in advance
... that's worth $25. Thanks, you are golden.
Most of the leaking comes from the seal in the compressor impeller clutch pulley😡😡
Yes, correct. But you can pressure / vacuum test the compressor after replacing the o-rings to check for shaft leaks. In this case it is ok. No shaft leak, I should have mentioned this in the video! Thanks for your comment
This W126 is in good hands.
Thanks!
@mehatestaxes Thank you very much! Your kindness is greatly appreciated! Glad to be of help! Peter
When you refilled system with freon where is the low side ? By radiator or above driver wheel well.
The low (blue) side is the big hose next to the fuel cooler
