Brent "Deadly" Smedley of Out Of Darkness

Based out of the state of Florida Out Of Darkness is a band not to be taken
lightly. Formed in late 2019 after founding members drummer Brent “Deadly”
Smedley (EX Iced Earth) and vocalist/guitarist Eric Barrios met through a
mutual friend. After the pair stopped at a local jam night they soon discovered
they had an instant musical chemistry. It was from this night Out Of Darkness
was born.

Brent is a great guy and an awesome drummer. His work with Iced Earth is legendary and I admire how he has stayed loyal to Jon Schaffer. I wish him the best with his new band, Out Of Darkness.
