1. US lasted twice as long as the Russians against Afghanistan
2. Russia/(USSR) inflicted more casualits to Afghanistan compared to US.
3 Finland may have won the battle and inflicted more casualits but the soviets still forced the Finnish to sue for peace.
4. US inflicted way more casualits then the Vietnamese.. they may of won the battle but not the war.
5. Last time Japan defeated Russia was in 1905.. 1939 the Russians won and in 1945 Operation August Storm delt the final blow to the Japanese.
6. Trust me Russia would flattened Ukraine if it didn't care about civilian casualits and have ukraine looking like what the US did to Iraq and Syria. Ukraine did surprisingly well for the first few months of the 3 day special military operation and even with NATO backing them they're still currently losing ground It's not looking good for them

I've looked at their performance in Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc. They never really achieved anything they said they would and Russia is looking really strong right now with all the sanctions and support Ukraine has been getting Ukraine is still loosing.
