Russia is staging a military drill near Ukraine with tactical nuclear weapons. Footage released by Moscow shows soldiers loading fake warheads onto launchers and warplanes. Russia's defence ministry says the drills are in response to provocative statements from Western leaders. In the past, Vladimir Putin has timed his nuclear rhetoric to deter western adventurism and meddling in Ukraine. Tactical nukes are smaller than strategic nukes which are capable of destroying entire cities. Meanwhile, the European Union has agreed on a deal to use profits from frozen Russian assets to fund Ukraine's war against Moscow. Russia has slammed the decision by Brussels, calling it theft.
