Hi Alice, I'm sorry, I should have posted a link. Here you go: www.cassidysquest.blogspot.com/2014/10/alone-in-dark_26.html From now on I'll be sure to post a link it if I talk about a specific post in a video. Thank you for the kind words, Alice. You are very sweet. Have a wonderful Monday. Hugs & love, Cass
Hi Cassidy, I just discovered your channel this morning because Alice's comment to you came up in my feed. Alice and I are friends. I suffered through a sleepless night 3 &1/2 years ago being very troubled over the loss of a dear friendship. We had a difference of opinion about how I was going to proceed with my life. It was a similar situation to that of you and your parents. Your parents love you, but they have an inability to deal with your changes right now. So you have to be patient and stand strong for who you are inside. My comments to another friend earlier today have an application here as well. Don't be bullied into being someone you are not. When you confront your fears and stand up in opposition against them, whether they be internal (within your mind) or external, it is that fortitude and faith that delivers you from your enemies. that is what it means in Psalm 23, "he prepares a table in the presence of our enemies." It is not necessarily a table you eat at; it is a table where you sit face to face against those who oppose you. Sometimes people have the will and strength to do this on their own; but some lean on their "Shepherd" to help them through the battle. The pen is mightier than the sword. Keep the ink flowing, but keep the sword in reserve. I hope this brings you some comfort as it did me. Love to you Frances. We must keep reaching out to others, for in that we find our strength.
Thank you, Frances. What a lovely, thoughtful reply. It does help. Very much so. I'm so sorry you had to go through something like this yourself. It is one of the worst feelings in the world, I think. I'm glad you found the strength to move forward. That is what I am going to do - move forward. There is no other option, really. I am going to keep doing everything in my power to get where I want to go That's all I can do. Thank you again, Frances. Have a wonderful Tuesday. Hugs, Cass
Hi Cassidey. I noticed that Frances had left a comment on your video, so I popped in for a listen. It's a sad commentary, but our parents can be our best/worst supporters. My dad was the worst, and my mom wishywashy at best. For you, your sister prob will be ur best ally and friend. Specially if she is a blackie lamb like you. I do hope things work out for the best for you. I found your lack of using makeup very interesting. Although I used as much as I could when I started retransition 8-9 yrs ago, I now go with the minimalist approach. And I pray you get more rest. Fretting will kill you and your spirit. I have just released my entire family from burdening themselves with my life, because they live in fear. Fear had NO place in my life anymore. Or in yours. Live, and live with confidence that you have done your best to deal with them, and now you need to focus on.....you. Hugs. Jami Teichroeb (aka Drummrgrl55)
***** Hi Jami, Thank you for your comment. I need to do another video; a LOT has changed since I did this one. lol You summed it up very well, actually. I finally had had enough of hoping for something that was/is never going to happen. The instant I did - everything changed. More to come, promise. But for now, thank you again, hon. I'm glad you found the strength to start living for yourself as well. :) Hugs, Cass
Aw Cass, I didn't see the blog post. I'm glad you're feeling better now. You are still my favorite pixie. Love ya, and hope things go up from here.

Sounds like there are more positives in your life. I am glad. Jami.
Coline, I thought I posted this here last evening, but I guess I hadn't. Here's the video.
