I never got to the heights of the game you reached Stephen, if you don't mind me calling you Stephen? But when I left the Royal Marines I fell into the cocaine game, because the money was easy, or felt like it was, and I also liked the continuity it gave me from being a Royal Marine; let me explain what I mean by that. When I was a Royal Marine, which I did 15 years at 1997-2012, I felt like I knew what I was all about, I felt like I had a purpose, I was someome, I mattered. I served in Northern Ireland, then in 2003-04 Iraq, then two tours of Afghanistan in 06 and 08. When I left the services I lost that feeling, I felt like I was NO ONE. Long story short, I fell in with a bunch of lads who were, as I said, moving a bit about and all of a sudden, I'm back in with a group of lads who are involved in the same thing I am, I feel like I matter again, I'm on top of the world again.
Fast forward to now, 2024, and just like we all do, I got caught; small stint at Guy's Marsh - probably easy time by anyone's standards, and now I've properly left that caper behind me.
Anyway, nice to get that off my chest and to someone who understands what the attraction of this game is all about and how you can easily fall into it.
Hope life is treating you well bud. Life is sweet when you let it be, isn't it?
A flawed film but totally watchable . I love this film so much. One of the best films of the early 2000s.
Great film. You dont have to be big to instill fear in others, you just have to be fearless.
You dont have to big or fearless, the fear is already there
Stephen, you come across as such a genuine man. Have to say I am fascinated by how you got to where you got too. I’ve commented before on here and I should have come and watched your show. Would love to come and listen to you live. I’ll go online and check out when you’re next doing a live show. You’re a good man 👍
Great review Stephen god bless mate happy new year keeping going .
Awesome as per usual Steve. Can’t wait to see your story on film
Good to see another Review Stephen. Happy new year.
Stephen is a hottie and a lovely gent. 💙
Can't wait to see Stephen's story on film, I can see Taron Egerton and Craig Fairgrass playing the younger and older versions of Stephen!
Steve, please consider doing a reaction to Love/Hate. It's an Irish gangster drama from the 00s which in my opinion is better than The Sopranos and Peaky Blinders. Cheers!
Maybe peaky but not sapronos
@@bladerunner2255 It took me a while to accept the fact that Love/Hate is better than The Sopranos. It's also worth checking out KIN which is another Irish gangster show made by the producers of Love/Hate. It's heading for Netflix which is great news. Cheers!
I'll have to buy this film to watch, good fellas is another good film.
Hey Steve I just wanted to say I watch all your content, peace and respect everytime
Proper genuine guy 💯👊❤️✌️
Great watch Stephen heppy new year 👍
first off i love this movie. and the second thing is I find it fascinating when an old school gangster can put the whole thing into perspective. thanks !
When he makes the tea with tap water 😂😂😂
Also don't forget when dude is always ready to fight with his vicious look at his opponent
Took he forever to find out that camel coat is played by Rick Grimes from walking dead!!
Great as always brother 👊🏻💙 I know it’s not a British movie but watch The Revolver… it’s a very smart movie and I think you’ll love all the quotes “The only way to get smarter is by playing a smarter opponent.” Fundamentals of Chess- 1883… I hope 2024 is the best year in your life “so far” 👊🏻😊💙 gent as always - peace and love from Northern Ireland 💚 keep up the good work - Burnsy 💪🏻🙏🏼👍🏻
Jamie foreman asked me out wish i said yes lolx
if you are really interesting in different crime cultures you definitly should watch movie "Жмурки". i don't shure if it has an english translation but it has a lot of black humor and show's some part of russian life in 90's.
Reading your book Tony from Bolton
I would love to see you react to Casino sometime.
The greatest movie of all time
Firstly, i apologise. Only just stumbled across your channel (now subscribed), have you considered doing an Alan Clark series? Made in Britain, Scum (TV and Cinematic released), The Firm etc.
Your a Hansum, clever, likable guy xxx
Great movie.
You should meet my Dad. He used to work for the Richardson's and dated Reggie Krays ex-gf. He was a bit of a naughty boy back in the day.
I'm Superman! King fucking Kong! I can pick you up and throw you a million miles. I'm number one.

Hi steven why does money and fame change sum people and not others xxxx❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Youre a cool gent. ♥️
Stephen is street wise and that's why you're still hear today pal. ♥️
Wishing you a happy new year.
Agreed
I rather think a review of the iconic Get Carter with Michael Caine is long overdue, I rankThe Long Good Friday and Get Carter as the best two films of the genre
I'd be interested on your take regarding The Bank Job movie, which is allegedly based on true events relating to the acquisition of some photos, and indeed one of the protagonists was hanged in 75 I believe for one of two murders commited at the time
Hanging was abolished in the late 60's.
@@eldoncollins7254 In Britain hanging was indeed abolished, but hanging was not abolished in Trinidad which is where the individual concerned was hanged for the murder of Joseph Skerrit
@@mickymondo7463 Fair enough, I got it wrong. 👍
@@eldoncollins7254 No worries, it is a very interesting story that the film is based upon and to date nobody has been arrested for the robbery, allegedly the robebry was organised by the security services to retrieve compromising photos of Princess Margaret whilst on holiday in the Carribean held by Michael X and used to keep him out of jail on several occassions by blackmailing the British establishment, the fallout involved various corrupt coppers being exposed along with some notables oft he Soho underworld, it is well worth a watch
