For me I think to water change a betta is ones a week if you breed bettas don't change the water you will kill all the fry if you do that

Hello! Um so I put my female in with the male for like 8hrs but still no egg and the female fins starts to have signs of being nip, what do I do? Seperate dem or leave them be?

Hi, female bettas are usually smaller than male ones but if your female betta is not yet ready to breed, feed your female betta a diet high in protein and fiber. Like freeze-dried food or live foods like mosquito larvae, brine shrimps, or blood worms for approximately a month. Or try to check her tummy if it is round and if there is a white spot under her belly, that’s the sign she’s ready to breed.

Is it necessary to add almond leaves?, or it is okay if we put another kind of leaves?
It's up to you bro but adding almond leaves is recommended cuz it will condition both bettas to produce healthy eggs.
What are alternative leaves aside in almond leave?
Hello, as far as i know we only use indian almond leaves but you can also use talisay extract they’re still the same. I hope this answers your question.

I used the same process . And i checked in the middle to see if there's bubble nest, like almost after 8 hours but there was no bubble nest. Do they make at the end of 24 hours? What should I do? Was it wrong to check?
i had a different process.. so there's 2 females.. and 1 male..
the male didnt seem to like the first female so i swapped it with the 2nd female..
when the 2nd female and the male were already in the same tank.. the male's bubbles were not that much and the 2nd female seems uninterested and just stays in the corners of the tank..
i noticed the first female in another container is bloated..
i had to swap them again..
now im not sure what to do.. the first female is really bloated she might just release the eggs already..
as of writing time, and approximately 1 hour after reintroducing the first (bloated) female to the male.. im thinking maybe i should just remove the barrier and let them mate already..
what do you think?

Not really🙂the male betta can stay until the fry will grow😁but in the video he is just making sure that the fry will not get eaten by the male because of tress😁

How do you know if your betta male won't attack the female betta if it creates his bubble nest?
Its normal for the male betta to attack the female because he knows it's his territory but no worries he will not kill the female and the male betta will chase her until she give up from the male that stage is called courtship. Furthermore, the female will be his slave and she will act obedient from the male to spawn the eggs.

the female one because if you take also the male, the fries can’t survive. as far as i know, the female is a bit smaller than male, but in your case i think the female is pregnant that’s why she’s a bit bigger that male so there is no problem with that, just try to breed them to spawn the eggs in her belly.

Yes i feed the male betta. I do not want to starve him because he might eat the eggs. And i also feed him just the exact amount he can consume so that the water will not contaminated if you’ll feed him too much. Hope it answers your question.

Hello, you can buy them online. You can also use dried banana leaves as alternative but for me indian almond leaves are much better.

Is the female hiding from the male? If yes, just leave them within 24 hours because the female is still adjusting from the male. And if the male keep chasing the female it is normal cuz that's the process of courtship.

It’s normal, that’s what bettas do and since the male is flaring its gills at the female I think the male is courting the female. That is only my opinion. Hope it answers your question.

I would keep them like somewhat separate but in visual range of each other longer, the female might've not been receptive to him. Some pairs just don't get along. Maybe try another female
