LITERALLY. I guess my name says it all IMPO
Dude at the end was like "paramedicine sucks I dont know why I chose this profession". Then changes and says "actually paramedicine is one of the best decisions I have ever made I love this profession". So do you love it or not?
But there are so many careers like this. For example: construction and many others.
hey ,if anyone else is searching for emt exam prep try Debuncar Medic Study Aid (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my colleague got amazing results with it.
Nothing but respect to you and all paramedics
in my city medics work 24 hour shifts.
That's insane. How can you stay awake so long? I have a hard enough time trying to calculate paediatric drug doses in my head after working 10 hours of a 12 hour shift.
What do you do when the patient dies. Like where do you go and all that
My issue was backstabbing coworkers in the EMS field.
Thats all fields. Been a medic and now a RN, worked doing everything before those jobs. Back stabbing drama in all fields
@@OLMmedic What kind of RN job are you doing? I feel like bedside nursing would suck after coming from the truck.
Wtf I’m in film school rn but thinking about dropping out to do paramedicine haha
12 hours shifts is something mess up specially in a job that you must be at 120% all the time...
I Really appreciate and enjoy your vids, ❤️ keep it up
Thanks Lotus
I could so not do that, diabetic, slow learner, weak af arms and have to pee al the time😂 I'd be able to keep the stuff upper lip and the drama I'd be fine with, though the first loss would be hard for sure..
Idk about this guy two years and he knows a lot ok dude. Thumbs down don't need to hear what this dude says.
2 people is not enough for a cardiac arrest call, here in my dept in California we at least have 2 fire units plus an ambulance
woah woah... not breathing does NOT automatically mean chest compressions. sir. ABC please.
Mi Ms. It’s recommended for the public to start CPR without checking for pulse research has shown that checking for pulse takes so much time and delays chest compressions. Plus if someone isn’t breathing after few minutes they’re gonna lose their pulse anyways.
if you wanna read more about it check this out

This is a video I made about the same topic

Hope this clarified things.
You should love this job to this cous be easy for you
I'm paramedic in iran we have 12 ours shift
Our salary in a month is just 205 dollars
Can you believe it we work just for 205 f...... Dollars
All the ambulance is out of service
You are in switzerland your salary is between 7,000 or 10,000 dollars for one month love your job because you earn much money 😁😁😂
Paramedics should be able to carry weapons on duty. Or have a specialized unit of paramedics that have training on weapons and tactics if they have to going into non permissive or hostile environments. The Air Force has Pararescue and have to know how to save lives and be willing to take lives if the situation dictates it.
In Holland you first have to become a nurse before becoming a paramedic and it sucks hard..
Just signed up for paramedic school
Oh cool, I still want to be a paramedic
Why would you want someone to hate the job before working it, this video is weird
agreed
if these are things you dont like....sounds like its not the job for you
Idk but US paramedic pay is terrible. If a job is stressful but the pay is good, I’ll happily do it. But if I’m doing so much stuff and get paid so little hell nah
I seriously hate those people who try to be emts are like "I work too long, I need more brakes, I need better pay" which dont get me wrong.. It's all true, but in the beginning of signing up to be what you wanted to be, they should've known what they were getting themself into. Like come **on** man.. I'm going to be a paramedic and will be fully aware of what I'll go through. I've wrestled for 3 years and managed to keep my calm under a lot of physical and mental preassure just for my career. So ye :]
Im 42 and about to start my paramedicine degree in New Zealand soon , too old huh?
5:12 I know it's sorta serious but I laughed lol
Fixed shifts are not a thing where I am
I can't decide between becoming an emergency medicine dr or q paramedic .
Curious why you transported a dead person and entered a home where there was a GSW without police securing the scene before entry
Katie Price should see this video. She thinks being a paramedic is a-may-zing.
Haven't had a call for three to four hours!??! Definitely US and not UK. Paid for medicine through insurance, up front costs etc and UK 'free'.
I’m an EMT and I have back pain :) I’m 26!
Do you think EMT-B school would help with LPN school?
Keep doing what you're doing man, I really appreciate what you do-- PS You're gorgeous and I've kinda got a crush on you
Thanks Wayne
Isn't a Paramedic just a CNA that drives an Ambulance?
Shift work... *laughs in military*
Dude no need, yes there are many downs about being a paramedic but there are also so many highs. Also I'm still becoming a paramedic.
Plus you get to give someone a second chance
You have to have passion to do the job. If you don’t have it then see ya 👋.
There is a video in your ads
If you...Hate your Job.....Its very...simple.......QUIT
Meanwhile, I'm doing my accounting job, crying over a "not responding" excel file. My job is so boring.
Would you recommend this job with someone with anxiety?
No way
@@deirdreocarroll1975 challenge accepted
Everyone in EMS already has anxiety. You'll fit right in
For me personally... it helps with my anxiety. It gives me something to focus on and forces me to live in the moment.
@@juanbargas7076 you change my mind. Thanks.
Summary: This job sucks... I love it.
The job is way less exciting and high adrenal than people make it out to be.
Mostly it's just...driving people around.
And then there is a a huge spike in "action" once in a while.
I still love paramedicine tho
All the crazy "bad" stuff hes saying is exactly why I WANT to do it!!!
A patient opened fire on ems personnel as well as attacked them with a knife while they were trying to help him. Ems are easy unarmed targets
If the paramedics didn’t try to kill I would have respect for them.
30-30% is high
Great video. Thanks.
Had us in the first half.. not gunna lie.
Damn now I’m rethinking about it lol
