Did you know? Not everywhere in the world is the US! If this story took place in the UK (which the use of the term 'shagged' almost confirms) 17 is not underage in terms of consent laws.
I do hope the OP was only like 19 at most though. Otherwise still majorly creepy and gross.

(not saying it's correct) in some states it wouldn't be a crime as the state law does allow someone who is 18 and 17 to hook up. So while it's wrong in my opinion, it technically might not be a crime under that states law. Messed up world we live in.

It depends what country it is,
A bit frowned upon, not welcome, but not illegal.
I think 16 is usual age of consent in most countries,
For people who think it is good idea to date people in that age - read next text:
but I don't advice dating in that age, especially especially especially if you are more than few years older.
Even if it is legal - it doesn't mean it is good idea.
People will give you side looks and would think bad of you.
Also, in many countries concent can be taking back any moment and teenagers are very unstable and can be influenced by parents etc, and after consent was removed for any bs reasons you became someone who r*ped minor technically (8+ years in prison and life ruined forever). For what? Because you break up with her and she is pissed? Because her mom didn't like you. You are making yourself very vulnerable. Just don't do it. It is stupid.
So just don't, never worth it even if legal.
I am personally glad that I never dated people younger than 19-20 when I became adult myself.

Story 24: academic dishonesty is the height of stupidity, because you think you're cheating the system, but in reality you're cheating yourself. Moreover, it is a crime with victims, because people like this steal scholarships from the truly deserving. it is unfortunate that he was on an accident and was hurt, but it is completely unrelated to his academic performance. For all you know you saved your life yesterday by leaving a place a few minutes later and avoided a collision that could have been. The mathematics of probability is too complicated by far to make that sort of assumption, but this student cheating? That's on them.

@@Midorikonokami not to mention how it devalues academia as a whole. My college degree holds no value because even though I and many others worked very hard to be proficient in the material, other students with no understanding and a third grade reading comprehension level were also passed alongside us. They didn't earn the degree and don't know the materials, but have their diploma anyway, so our efforts basically mean nothing. Cheating needs punished and those falling behind shouldn't be "pity passed." Helped, of course, but not to the detriment of those who are actually successful.

It is not that hard if you stop trying to do it quick like in few weeks or months.
Do it slowly without starving yourself, just learn about food and invest in better food, don't go crazy in gym, start with light activity.

People need to realize some of these stories have a prequel, the revenge part is a victim snapping and the revenge too far is karma just biting them in the ass hard.
Story 24: Op is not at fault for busting a cheater. That kid literally pissed of everyone by submitting a work that wasn't his. By this he belittled the effort of other students and showed it was ok to plagirize which is not. The car accident was probably just an unfortunate event that could have happened any time in his life.

  • @vmarieeee
    @vmarieeee 9 днів тому +2

Story 24: Completely disagree w/ your take on the kid who cheated. “yea he’s cheating but what does that have to do w/ you” is crazy. When you’re someone who actually spends time working on assignments trying to earn a grade watching someone cheat and get away w/ it while also getting praised is lowkey a slap in the face. OP ratted him out which honestly he deserved bc if that kid was caught doing that in college he would’ve been kicked out and that would most likely prevent him from ever getting into another school. Saying Op kinda caused the chain that led to him being paralyzed is crazy. Bring back the other narrator.
edit: more into the video now he’s saying have empathy for a racist…. bitch what? yea bring back other narrator x2

He died 2ish year later of a massive heart attack in his mid 30s

Honestly after Columbine.. so 4/20/99 a lot of stuff changed. I was around in that era as well 9th grade so it was kinda different pre and post columbine. that next school year I remember the student handbook being a few pages longer. I should also clarify I was in an Urban school district too. I can only imagine what a suburban school district would been like. Cause they were a bit more tolerant than in the suburban one according to a couple friends who went to one in the suburban district. Also to answer a question. I lived on the city line one half of the street was the city schools the other suburb.

I remember when i was about 10. I was always the fat kid in school and and got picked on for it. The one guy loved to tease me day in and day out. One day it was incessant and my emotions were running high. I lost my temper (think Carrie at the prom level). I ran at him and full force tackled him. He went down on top his leg with me on top of him. He left in an ambulance with a broken leg. He was in a cast for the next few weeks. That night I couldn't stop crying.

I am a pagan witch, I do not not like doing curses. But I do do karma spells. So their karma comes back on them 10 fold.. I do not do them often, some of the ones I've done have had some scary results. Most of them were justified. ie child being abused, or someone was sexually abused, harm to a child or someone too weak to defend themselves. I've been a witch all my life, but didn't fully start learning till I was 4yrs old, I'm 54 now. So I consider myself a strong witch. Sometimes it can be scary along with the awesomeness.

For the record, story five is most likely not a crime. Across the United States of America, even though the federal legal age is 18 years old, the average legal age is actually 16 years old. And I’m talking about the average legal age of consent. Also, in Canada, it’s also 16. Not saying that’s 16 being the age of consent is a good thing, but in some states, the average age of consent is not 18. So depending on the state, the dude in story, five sleeping with the 17 year-old sister is most likely not a crime. Also, there’s a possibility that she may have lied about her age. The dude in story six, if the seven-year-old wouldn’t let go after biting the guy, it probably was hurting him very badly. Imagine, gripping someone’s flesh with your teeth. Still not justified, but I understand why he did it.

Not my proudest moment but when I was a teenager I was playing hockey and there was this one girl, Marie, who kept smacking me across the shins and the back of the ankles. I told her if she didn't stop I'd smack her back, she called my bluff, so I smacked her back. I'd been walking with my stick up and I tried to spin around and go for her shins but she'd been closer than I'd realised - this whole time she'd been smacking me then falling back, but this time she tried to immediately run past me. So instead of being a meter or so behind me, she was right beside me as I spun, and I basically caught her full force in the side of the head with the rounded "club" side of the stick. She wasn't *quite* knocked unconscious but she was off school with a concussion for the rest of the week. Oh shit the amount of trouble I got in, lol. Marie and I actually became good friends after that, weird how this stuff goes sometimes.

It's the Canadian French word for "slow" (that's the literal English translation, and it's still a regular part of the language today, to my awareness - to the point it gets accompanied with "pardon my French" in Canada sometimes), and is less a slur, and more just a poor-taste insult (its use as an insult actually has an identical origin with the words "imbecil", "moron", and "idiot" - while I am _not_ advocating for its use as an insult, it's important to understand the actual origins of words and the mindsets that cause them to become harmful in specific contexts).
The problem is the common mindset of it being "okay" to use mental health conditions as weapons against people who have opinions one doesn't like. Blanket banning words is an easy thing to do, but it also doesn't address the root cause of the harm - thus, it's a bandaid that does nothing to stop people with such mindsets from just finding new words to weaponize in identical ways (to date, "autistic" and "delusional" are what the worst areas of the internet are already starting to adopt as insults in leu).
