My tips and tricks guide for Doctor Strange! As always covering his moveset, some fun interactions with how his moves work with each other, and some general guidelines to how his gameplan works.
0:23 - command normals
3:31 - special moves
7:52 - super moves
10:07 - grace and flames
13:30 - impact palm and agamotto
14:56 - role as support
17:39 - in closing
Roof! Thanks for this, even as a Strange main I didn't know the Grace orbs could be placed in different locations if you pressed a different button at the end. One thing worth noting is that L.Eye of Agamotto (the exploding one) always combos right into L.Daggers of Denak for easy and stylish combos. Learned some neat things here, and I'm hoping you do Firebrand next.
Definitely neat character, not much of a doctor strange fan but he looks super fun. Been playing dormammu since mvc3, now that it's 2v2 maybe I should learn him for a masters of magic team.
Well in my time with strange he's definitely unique, nobody else really plays like him I can say that for sure.
A heads up for any up and coming Strange players. Be careful about the grace setups they can still be buggy if placed off screen far on the opposite side. The fireball will travel in the direction of the grace, but it won't activate.

yeah, unless you have a tag to make it a little safer, (just a bit safer) i'd only use it when you're can see all graces on screen.
i like the hoggoth beam doing the little launcher thing but a large part of me always thinks "i wish this was a multi hitting beam instead" that would be a sick pressure tool

Finally Dr Strange..i request'd a tutorial a month ago..I've since main'd Ultron/Gamora..but I'm not complaining.. maybe I'll go back..i swear Capcom combos are harder thn NRS gms..i really have trouble doing basic BnBs..in MKx umma beast..MvCi not so much i dnt get it...
Different strokes I guess, I find like Johnny cage a-list dash cancel combos harder than anything in marvel.

i could test this myself but ill just ask here anyway. What do the red hoggoths do to the flames of faltine? the yellow obviously amount of hits/beam knockdown.
the red orbs don't affect the projectile, but they explode when the flames of the faltine hits. An opponent hit by this explosion is opened up to a full combo.
who does strange pair well with ?
William Reese I fought a strange hulk and it was pretty hard to fight
