I would love a book as good as Birthday Girl which I think is the best of this trope. My only issue with Birthday Girl and "Your Dad Will Do" is the son is such a douche it's a no brainer to go with the Dad. It would be cool to have an actual competition. I was thinking "The Initiation" by Nikki Sloan but that was her fiancée not her ex. I've never seen a true love triangle with the Dad like you see in "Thoughtless" by S.C. Stephens. Maybe I just need a good cheating rec.
I love ex-boyfriend's dad books, so I will check out the ones you suggested here as well as the video about them too. Chasing The Wild seems to be a book I would really enjoy reading a lot. I read here with me, and I really like that one. I tried to read book 2 and book 3 in the series, but I did both because they weren’t for me. I just found that they weren’t the stories. They said they were going to be.. but I really wanna read only with me and sing with me because the way you talk about the last two books sounds really interesting

"Black swan affair" by K. L. Kreig. I would recommend going into it blind... Just know that it falls in this category.
