Dry Creek is a neat place. Rode in there with a relative 40 years ago to the EAA Antique & Classic chapter meeting. I was type rated to hand prop Tiger Moths so got to jump a few rides.

Great little plane. I've seen a few on the ramp and always wanted to give one a try. I'm just not sure if my 6'5" frame will let the canopy close.

That’s a nice RV-6! I’ve been looking for one with an O-360.
Good luck on getting the Tru Track autopilot to work. They no longer make or service them. For the drop of the left wing on a stall, try pinching the trailing edge of the right aileron. Pinch in small increments and go test it.

Bernard Warnkee made an almost constant speed prop. it was great. After he retired Marge Warnkee kept the business going but she no longer made the great prop. she made ordinary props like yours.

They still do demo flights at Vans. I took a flight in the RV10 two weeks ago.
Great video thanks. Whats common maintenance gotchas with vans? I own certified. Sick of rules. And def going experimental.
The only one currently is finding one that wasn’t built with laser cut parts as they are prone to cracks.

You can’t “just” put a CS prop on that engine. You need a hollow crank.

Nope, you just need to learn to budget your money better if you want to join the hobby, it’s called passion! Some people are passionate about eating out, going on vacations, drinking or gambling or doing drugs. We all have our addictions mine personally is flying.
