We are French from the state of New Hampshire. Not too far from the Canadian border. I grew up eating like that. And I gave it to my kids too. 👍 We never had meat in ours, but it looked good. Loved to top it with mustard or catchup and now spicy bbq sauce.
I love the tortilla. I often make it when I have guests and add a small green salad and a dill pickle on the plate with a slice. It is a lovely dish for brunch (or even dinner!). Your videos are wonderful.
Traditionally Mondays are my omelette days for supper. This will be tomorrow’s recipe at home. Just add a side salad and everything will be perfect. Plus one small glass of wine (only one!). Merci beaucoup Marie-Anne!
@@frenchfoodfrenchhome4219 since I’m cutting off my carbs at night, I changed potatoes for zucchini, mushrooms and aubergine, plus seasoned the omelette with herbes de Provence. It was delicious!

Looks delicious. Very much like a "fritata" that I make, but instead of flipping the omelette it goes in the oven; pan and all, to finish it off. Thank you for your wonderful version!
I have just cooked this French Omelette for our tea Marie-Ann and it was a delicious I hit a snag though as my fry pan would not allow me to flip it over like you, which I was so looking forward to trying, my Omelette had stuck, so I had to complete the cooking under the grill, so with that in mind I must invest in a better pan. Thank you for this recipe, I will endeavour to do better next time. Best wishes from UK
Not sure how I missed this when you originally posted, or why it showed up in my feed just now, but I did and it did and that looks SO good! I get the world's best eggs (for free, too! From my daughter's happy, free-range chickens!) and they are so much better than any I've bought at a store, so I'm always looking for delicious egg recipes. I think I have everything to make this! This looks delicious. I would use a different sausage as I don’t like chorizo. Maybe Italian or polish sausage? What do you suggest? I love how you write ingredients on screen and your slow and precise visual instructions are easy to follow. I love all your videos. ❤

It would be VERY interesting and helpful if you show different kind of food portions (cheese, sweets, berries, meet). And again, you might have them with different kinds of food and different amounts. How do you calculate what amount is good and enough? Please share your french wisdom.
