His performance in that fight might not have resulted in the desired outcome…but when removing that aspect, it was nothing short of incredible!! He did what nobody thought could be done! When everyone doubted him. Especially now this far removed from it, the outcome of the fight as a whole itself is even less significant in my opinion. I remember being AWE inspired by his performance. Yes crushed at the time when he didn’t get the belt for it…but SO inspiring nonetheless! We should all look for the inspiration we can extract from the fight itself, not only the result.

Absolutely. The UFC was kinda stupid to even announce those fights right away. They should have let this breathe. There needs to be time to bask in the glow of the event and have analysts contextualize all that happened.

Someone was trying to say last week they look for the circle in the thumbnail and then they know it’s good guy bad guy. But the ESPN MMA youtube page is also using the same circle/thumbnail style for videos from SportsCenter, First Take, and even numbered UFC events. Multi billion dollar company and not one college marketing major working there has the pull/common sense to read the comments on every good guy bad guy show and see that the thumbnail system they have is AWFUL. At this point, give Good Guy Bad Guy their own channel! It would be easier to follow and keep Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A from appearing on my feed to talk MMA!

I believe Nunes feels Kayla dodged her to get to this point and have her moment and those two have been going at it from when Kayla was at a different organization. I don't know that she's serious about coming back per se, but I just think she wants people to look at this as Kayla dodging her and getting into the UFC after she retired.
It was amazing because most of the fights would have been main event fights and almost all them fight 5 rounds so to see them know that they could go hard for 3 rounds made it so much better

I love what Amanda did. The reality is that we want a rivalry in that division, and that's what Amanda is setting up. A rivalry between her and Kayla that we can get excited about before she makes a comeback. It's exciting to see Amanda seemingly threatened after watching her easily squash everyone for so long.
There are very few people that deserve to fight for the BMF title. I think max just needs to sit on that for awhile until the right time and opponent presents itself.

Problem with LHW is that there aren’t any elite grapplers to really challenge Pereira. On the feet it’s hard to think anyone can get him.
