What would be the issue if the pin that activates the switch doesn't come out far enough? Had it rebuilt a few months back and worked fine up until recently.
@thomas reed Turning heating valves may cause you more problems, as they never get used so they could seize or leak, i just leave then & drop a little pressure outa drain point , right side in case (white with knurled knob)
Do not have to be as not touching gas parts of the boiler to replace diaphragm , only entails water section . You must be another rip off central heating engineer or scam plumber to complain about this easy repair
@@kavick4 And your just one tight ass as well who don't want to pay for the job to be done by Gas engineers and you should be gas safe register to remove the case.
@@JoshRPoole What a stupid statement , Removing the cover once the power is switched off does not affect the Gas at all . Can you not remove the cover on a plug to replace the fuse if your not a registered electrician ? There are 3 parts to a boiler , gas , electricity and water . Replacing mechanical water only parts are only going to have ill effects on the profits of plumbers/heating engineers .
@@kavick4 not a stupid statement at all when you do your acs they say you cannot take the case off a boiler as it's a seal obviously you haven't got a clue I'm a gas engineer of 8 years I know what I'm talking about , clearly you do not
