I'm enjoying your channel and embroidery designs. Wish I wasn't allergic to the wool because polyester just doesn't have as nice of a puff effect.

I have had good results with Hobbs premium batting. There is nothing to stop you putting a third extra layer in, perhaps a slightly smaller piece in the middle. Just make sure there is a large piece on top so the machine doesn't get stuck!
