Hey Saturn. I know you mentioned this briefly in one of your older videos but I would love to see you go through each hero and check out their skins, some voice lines, play of the game intros, sprays etc. Idk, maybe do it like you did with your reaction to the game play trailers but this time you are in control. Would be a super relaxing video, seeing you browse through, seeing the finer details of everything, giving your thoughts on this and that. I think you have an eye for some details and I would personally love to see you do this!
Wow, you've come such a long way! The difference from your first Overwatch video to now is night and day. Don't worry about your rank too much, the game has been out for awhile and bronze is such a massive spectrum of skill. I appreciate your sense of humor about it too lol, it's so refreshing for someone to be able to have a laugh and not worry about the toxic side of the community. We were all bad when we started, you'll only keep getting better as you go! I also love that you are trying to learn and thinking about everything! Since you are more advanced now, I will try to give a couple quick simple tips if you would wish to see them! I think it will help to try remembering how as many of the abilities work as you can. For example, You can actually survive a dva bomb with ramattra block, but block only protects you from the front! These little things become second nature as you repeat them You are getting much better with your movement and aim! Since you are learning FPS games as a beginner, I'd totally recommend taking a couple minutes in the practice range each day to practice keeping your crosshair on a target while moving left and right randomly. It's a very quick and simple exercise that goes a long way to making FPS games feel more comfortable and natural! Love the videos, keep it up
@@SolitarySaturnI had to pause the video earlier, but I just saw the Ramattra ultimate 4k! Walking in with your ult in the Juno ray is a really good play, it turns you into the final boss lol
For your first games you're doing great! Helpful tip with Ramattra, his shift reduces damage by 75% but only to frontal damage. A few times you died with your back turned to a Dva bomb (I'm guessing because this mechanic isn't super clear). Face your threats when blocking and you'll live much longer! Keep going, GL!
Now that youre in ranked, you should react to some high level overwatch, id love to see what you think of players like frogger, zbra, or yeatle. But id also love to see your reaction to official OW E-Sports broadcast getting a glimpse of the top is also sure to help you improve on your own
From one Ramattra main to the other, After you pop your ultimate it gives you 300extra armor and once it ends you can press shift to get 300 armor again in his nemesis form. Also you can Tank Dva bombs point blank as well if you block facing the bomb. Your block is directional and mitigates damage in the direction your blocking. Also use your shield to poke and once they come close then pop your nemesis form and punch them to death. Also I love to see you play more Overwatch. Keep up the good worl
I was getting to amped up watching this video, shame I missed it live! Looked like you were having fun and you play a lot more confidently, it shows with your improvement. Great video, keep up the great work Saturn!!❤️
I'm half way through and i'm loving the video ! I just have 2 things to say: 1- i hope you play more competitive and put out more comp videos. 2- I wish you would press TAB during the game to see the score board, you always check it after the match never during, usually everyone when they die they press tab to see the score
38:05 Bro, Zbra is a monster, the guy got rank 2 playing doom only. thats insane. You should definetly watch some of his videos, even if on your own just to see how wild he is.
As a diamond player who is always furious at my tanks with 1000 hours who still do moronic things here are my tips for a newer tank player to develop good habits early. 1. Use cover/corners. Always. Just because you're a tank doesn't mean you need to absorb all the damage to the face. Minimize the amount of resources supports need to use on you to keep you alive 2. Think about who your abilities are best against and who to use them on. Don't spam or waste your cooldowns just because, especially as a tank. Most tank abilities should only be used at the right moment to stay alive or secure a kill. And they work better against specific heroes. 3. Always be aware of line of sight to your support. If nobody on your team can see you, you've probably screwed up. Too many tanks go way too deep into the backline and feed or they decide they won a fight so they push all the way to spawn and feed. Make sure to never do that and you will win tons more games. 4. Last, pick 1 tank from each category to get good with. You need to be able to play at least 1 dive tank, 1 shield tank, and 1 brawl tank. You don't have to master all to always do the perfect swap. But you definitely need to be good with at least 1 of each for when things go bad. I would say that you can pretty much play 1 tank 90% of the time and you will rank up fastest by getting really good. The others are just so you can have options. Good luck. I'll be interested to see if you can rank up.
your cooldown rotations are getting so good! btw i hope all the advice people (myself included) give isn't annoying or overwhelming haha, i think the community is just excited about your progress so far!
Changes in your rank are only based on whether you won or lost. Stats like damage, elims, healing and deaths don't affect your rank. This is because OW is a game where a lot of the time, stats don't necessarily correlate with the value of your plays. You can do 1,000 damage in a team fight and not contribute at all to your chances of winning it, or you can do 200 damage and completely secure the fight. Even though killing enemies is certainly a vehicle for winning a match, killing enemies is not _the_ objective of a match. So the designers have opted to make rank be based on wins and losses alone. It can sometimes feel frustrating because there are four other people in your team that you can't control, but I believe it's still the right choice.
Small tips for Ramattra, 17:51 you would need to look at the area for where the damage is coming from, example if you looked at the bomb here, you would have most likely survived it
I disagree, comp is better than quick play. Just turn off text and voice chat so you don't have to deal with the toxicity. The benefit of ranked is you're more likely actually gonna be playing against people of your level. I'm gold, and the other day, I had a quick play game against a grandmaster tank and a grandmaster support. It was MISERABLE. Aside from that, most people are actually playing to win rather than to screw around which can happen in QP. Once you give up on caring about your rank, I feel like competitive is just the superior game mode. Plus having a chance to attack and defend just feels better. Yeah, maybe that team squeaked out a full payload push when they were attacking but then you feel really good when you turn around and blow through their defense with no effort and finish with 3-4 minutes left on the clock. Plus, you earn points for the jade/golden weapons, which is cool. In addition to all the same rewards you get from unranked play.
@@Caedus-nn Comp is 100% better. Its the only chance you have to have real games. QP or arcade modes have insane leaver rates. People lose 1 fight or get killed once and the instantly quit. So every QP game is a complete roll. Comp is the best by far. And generally even in QP you still get matched with people of the same rank. If you get a super high level player its probably just a fluke because there were no other players to put you with.

Wow the third game was rough. I felt that. You were doing so great. All because of a random leaver. But we've all been there
I was proud of how we were hanging in there on that one.

Yes I have a lot of work to do on my awareness. It is getting better as I slowly learn what other characters can do so I know what to look out for.
At least you know ramattra can block damage with that ability 😅 @@SolitarySaturn

In 1 years time you will be gold. Remember this comment. Also I'm watching on a tablet 😁
I completely agree. I'm really impressed with his Ramattra gameplay for mid bronze. A year's worth of experience should take him far
Uh oh! Maybe I need to update the intro song ;)
I recommend the normal AI battles with a team otherwise classic unranked but comp is just unplayable imo way to sweaty every season 😭
