I picked up a usb c hub for my laptop as it only had 2 inputs and turned out to be fantastic for my phone too. otg file transfer, charging, hdmi out, ethernet in. real handy for getting camera footage on to phone or tablet for editing. Was a real gem of a find, so useful. defo must for my travel tech.
I've been enjoying the look and design of olight products for a while, so its nice to see one of their tiny lights on this channel. It is crazy how long the PaperWhite can live on! I was gifted one and then handed it down to someone else after a few years--they take a kicking and keep on ticking--truly my only issue was losing it so often under other stuff or in bags. O_o
Olight and Wuben are my 2 favorite light brands right now by a mile - the arkfield and oclip are both so great. Almost had that fate thinking I had lost my paper white last week! Found it in one of my other bags luckily, gotta see how many more years I can get with it
I mentioned it a bit in this video and some others earlier this year, but generally much more convenient to have your own network to connect all of your devices to when you’re away from home. You don’t need to sign in to every single device every time, avoiding the one-page sign in options, especially good for devices without a browser to confirm/accept. Also easier security, you can connect a vpn directly with the router to serve every device. Really nice for file sharing if you’re accustomed to a shared server at home/work plugging drives in directly. Some mobile hotspots limit how many devices you can connect to, this counts as a single connection but serves everything. Also good as a WiFi extender if service is weak. Hopefully not too rambly, tons of different points that could probably be its own video
For sure! I still have some annoyances with windows 11 vs macOS but the hardware side of things is much better these days from my perspective. Loving that legion, performance is great considering the form factor and price especially.
It’s the XREAL beam pro and air2 pro glasses. Since I can’t really record how im seeing it through the glasses the screen was added digitally to the footage in the edit
I’ve got links to everything if you want to check anything out and see more detail - since it’s my personal setup and usage I kept things more casual so it wasn’t 30-40 minutes long
Just ordered the Larq in green!🎉 Awesome recommendation. It literally was exactly what I wanted in a water bottle for years and looking forward to using with Metro Alpaka backpack 🎒 for my EDC
I do. I have a 32oz Yeti Rambler I keep full of ice and water and since it's double walled, my water stays cold and helps me consume more water throughout the day.
Not exclusively but for sure! Especially on days when I’m in and out, or going to the gym, nice to be able to grab and go. The insulation is nice too for ice water when I’m home

Thanks so much for the support! I love adding in new tech but sometimes the older gear is still working great without any need to replace

6:13 Tinykin was one of my favorite games of 2022!

Those are some great stuff, especially those cables that are magnetic
For sure! So great having tidy cables with almost no effort
Would love to see a daily routine using some of the products you discuss.
I used to do stuff like this more often, but I’ll do some brainstorming for future videos!
hey Josh, whats the thing stuck on the back of your MacBook screen?
It’s a phone mount from moft, comes in really handy for the iOS/mac camera continuity feature amzn.to/4fnqOoC
Man Josh....I love that tech bag!
For sure! Got some amazing bags this year
@@joshfenn Good vid Josh...as always.

Did you ever try the Memobottle Slim Stainless Steel?
I haven’t yet but need to! I remember when it was launching but it slipped my mind, I’ll have to grab one soon to check out
@@joshfenn grab one bud. You won’t regret the portability
Have you checked out any bags from local Portland company BlaqPaks?
Haven’t heard of them before, I’ll have to check it out!
curious whats the point of having a Travel Router ?

What’s the blue wall color?
Can’t remember anymore unfortunately, found it on clearance at my local hardware store a few years ago
Hell yeah more PC builds
It’ll be my first ‘from scratch’ build, working on getting the parts set up now for it but I can’t wait
i thought you upgraded from tech pack 2 to tech pack 3 😁
I didn’t realize it had come out! Been behind on my AER releases this year haha
@@joshfenn if you’ll have your hands on it, i’ll wait for the review of it with your tech in it ☺️
How did you do that? 13:47

@@joshfenn very cool

Found it on Huckberry a while back! prf.hn/l/1ejJJEE
Did a video last month talking about it in more detail if you’re interested
I don’t think windows has improved since 2006 , so it should be familiar
XP is still the goat after testing 11
How much are the items? More info needed.
I’ve got links to everything if you want to check anything out and see more detail - since it’s my personal setup and usage I kept things more casual so it wasn’t 30-40 minutes long
Link please. I want to see how much everything costs.
It’s all in the description listed in order of appearance, hope it helps! Happy to answer questions here too
Just ordered the Larq in green!🎉 Awesome recommendation. It literally was exactly what I wanted in a water bottle for years and looking forward to using with Metro Alpaka backpack 🎒 for my EDC
Glad to hear it! Love the green too, had the regular swig top in green and it’s my favorite color from the bunch.
I Just bought the black Hydro flask that you had in2017 😂 am I to late
Haha still a good bottle!
Which game was that?
Not sure what the timestamp was but there were clips of Jedi survivor, Tinykin, satisfactory, Subnautica, and stray
You drink from water bottle at home?
I do. I have a 32oz Yeti Rambler I keep full of ice and water and since it's double walled, my water stays cold and helps me consume more water throughout the day.

I do, keeps the water colder longer.
You don't?
I do. I like this bottle and i want one for me
