The Sammy the Bull interview is one of the best interviews I've ever heard. The history alone is worth the listen. I'm not claiming he was being 100% honest with his version of events... but he is damn entertaining.

There was a 1999 Movie called Bonanno: A Godfather's Story that shows the Mafia's relationship with the Kennedy's and their involvement in the hit. You have to find the full 3 hours version (I have a VHS that I recorded on showtime). It was re-released later on DVD as a shorter version where they cut out the Kennedy parts. Martin Landau plays a dying Joe Bonanno and the movie is based on his autobiography. Joe himself did an interview for the promo and he stated that he released the autobighraghy which the movie was based because everyone shown in the movie is already dead. He was the last living of the 5 council members. The movie also detailed Luciano's helping the U.S. to win WWII using his contacts in Sicily in exchange to be released from prison. It's my favorite mafia movie that nobody has ever heard of.

It tore open a hole near his right ear, which caused it to flap off to the side, then the bullet continued it's destructive, and fatal, path, through the right side of his head, the exit wound being a 5-inch gap, right through the back of his head. There's no way that he could've survived that... not even for an instant! He was dead before he slumped back against his Wife's shoulder. It was over. President Kennedy had said, presumably less than a year before his death, that his favorite poem was:"I have a rendevous with death". I get the feeling that he lived in fear of that occurrence...and, sure enough, it unfortunately happened. So sad...
