  • View behind a cab of DB ICE3 MF from Paris to Frankfurt am Main via LGV est speeding upto 320 km/h.

Yearr ride with 320 kmph !!! Now I've got a driver licence for TVM430/KVB trains and ran this route twice as self as the driver. The TVM430 is a train control system who shows the driver the allowed max speed (green over the Panel "300" or "320") on service over 200kph. Under 200 the KVB is active (the box over the left LCD-Monitor). The only i think, thats a pity, that on the moment when the driver changes the electric supply,is too dark to see it.

whatever the video is great! I know, when I made one of my videos I also had to "fight with the sun".The biggest problem for a photographer is, to have the sun in front of himself. The procedure of Voltage-changing is very simple: At first the driver swichtes the trottle "0", master switch OFF then the pantograph DOWN, on the LCD-monitor he press the button "25kV ~ LGV",after passing the "REV-sign" then panto UP, master switch ON. Important is to do it in this order and in the right voltage.

Sad that the train managers who speak 3 and often more languages are paid a lot less than our guards 🇬🇧 over here who can barely speak one sometimes (I know, I'm an ex train driver).
It's fascinating when they go through a neutral section and the glass behind the driver turns opaque.

@DerLokVogel Thnak you for your comment and explanation! Well, at that time I was aware of the relation btw the sign and the electric blind of the window. I just understand the reason by your comment. I really enjoyed a trip and thank SNCF and DB crews.
