Hi, love the channel and love you. Here's a tip from an Israeli: We have the pavement curve painted in red-white and blue-white strips to mark parking availability. Also there were many Israeli flags in that scene. Good luck!
17:00 the olive trees to the left and right, as well as the cypress trees lining the road (more of them in the background) and the red and white pavement are dead giveaways you’re in an israeli village or kibbutz. the greenery also gives away that it’s somewhere in the north (jezreel valley in this case). the ramshackley telephone lines are pretty typical as well. the building is pretty atypical to most israeli rounds since most of the time you’d be set in a city, not a kibbutz, but houses like that one aren’t an uncommon sight in the smaller settlements over here. much to keep in mind!
Red and White Curbs can only be found in Tunisia, Israel (and Palestine) and Laos. In this case we see a cypress tree, which is abundant in the Eastern Mediterranean. I think it can be found in northernmost Tunisia but that would be rare.

I thought it was too tropical to be mainland Portugal Madeira is a beautiful place, perhaps you could do a straight line mission there! They have a very unique airport, one of the most dangerous in the world. Named after Cristiano Ronaldo
It would be easier to do a straight line mission across switzerland, tha madeira, the mountains go up to almost 1900m high and are insanly steep like almost vertical in some places because its a very young vulcanic island, there wasnt enough errosion yet to weather them down.
I mean it could maybe be possible from Rirbeira brava to sao vicente, but only for an experienced alpinist with proper rock climbing gear and would still be insanly hard even though its "just" 15km
Unbelievable detective skills in Salta, Tom. I'm speechless with how you were able to do that. You could have probably gifted me the country, nay, the city, and I still wouldn't have been able to decipher that. That Salta guess was absolutely insane. When I saw the roof contour of that house to the left I was so sure you had it. Nicely done. And as a note to myself: those black street name signs with the arrow are probably Argentina.
About the Israel round: These types of houses are very common in the old parts of a kibbutz/moshav (small towns). The red and white rectangle on the side curbs mean “no parking” in Israel, blue and white rectangles mean “Paid parking”, and black and white are for no stopping. The Olive trees indicate that it is the north-ish region of Israel (or West Bank) and the tall tree behind them is very common to find right next to them. Hopefully it might help you and you will get 24000+ next time!
Loved the Kyrgyzstan and Argentina guesses, especially Argentina was a real gem. Both were based off of great detective work and just giving it those extra 20 seconds to get the positioning perfect. The Izrael guess was so unfortunate, otherwise this could have been a hellish score.
As an argentine, it was obvious that it was my country, only by the feel of it, but getting a perfect score in a difficult location is mental! You're an awesome player Tom, cheers!
The most amazing detail on the Salta guess was that you could see the angle to the building across to the right from the intersection which mapped perfectly onto that intersection in google maps. Insane knowledge. Maybe one day we'll use this kind of information to map out other planets or something cool.

same.i sat a bit more to think about it and maybe he already sufferend enough. knowing that every body knows u cheated, at least if i was in his shoes (i d never cheat btw) that would kill me inside, then peopel that u might look up to or respect call u wanker... it might depend really; deserves what tom said, depends on how good u can take a punch. as a cheater you should take that in consideration.
The issue is Nighty never would have just come out and said “I’ve been cheating for months and none of you knew it”. He’s only sorry he got caught. He needs to stay away from the competitive community. If it’s a hobby he can keep it. He doesn’t have to be let back into the competitive scene. He’ll surely learn from it and hopefully he doesn’t cheat at anything else in life as a result.

I’m sick at home right now and I can’t put it into words very well but for some reason these videos are incredibly cozy to watch. Keep it up Tom
That Argentina guess got me screaming that's insane
The Salta guess where you identified the Cerro San Bernardo in the back was amazing. I climbed that mountain and I wasn't so convinced about the city. You are outstanding.
Mate, that last round was kind of heartbreaking. It would have been so awesome to see you on the leaderboard with these two perfect scores (espc the 2nd one was nuts). Gj! (:
Great to see the channel doing so well. Everyone I tell about the straight line missions is fascinated - I wish I had had the same idea when I was younger.
Don't apologize for spittin facts, mate
Hey, Tom. I comment this on nearly every video you make, but I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. Seriously. Thank you. I watch them every night before bed.
As someone from Argentina, I can't believe that Salta guess. That sign you used as confirmation of where you were literally said "bakery" (which is what panaderia means in Spanish).
I would have guessed somewhere in the mid-south by the way it looks.
Yeah, stuff like this makes me unwilling to believe he's not cheating.
@@Sambenmaggie I mean he went through his whole thought process and he shows when he makes the game and there are no cuts soooo
@@kiiturii If he's cheating he wouldn't need cuts, and giving a line of reasoning isn't proof positive. If we assume he's cheating with his second monitor and then from knowing the answer backexplaining his reasoning his explanations/lack of cuts mean nothing.
@@kiiturii Too many of his videos have logic leaps to get to his answer where he completely misses basic clues or misunderstands words yet arrives at the right conclusion by luck.
@@Sambenmaggie but that wouldn't even work? you need to move your mouse to get to your second monitor and he never takes his mouse off the game, he also plays the game in fullscreen and the fact that he doesn't cut the video means we know he didn't make a link for the game he's in, and how would you explain all the games where there are no signs or anything? you can't google that. And what about his battle royale games? you don't really have time to cheat, you might get to google one place if it's a main city but that's it. There's literally no possible way he could be cheating lol
also if he used a second monitor or a phone you could see him look to the side, all his videos have facecam
I've seen you do insane guesses for a while now, but I still get more impressed than the last time. You're amazing, Tom
I thought it was too tropical to be mainland Portugal
Madeira is a beautiful place, perhaps you could do a straight line mission there! They have a very unique airport, one of the most dangerous in the world. Named after Cristiano Ronaldo
I've been to Madeira. No way he could walk anything straight there.
@@FruitingPlanet Today I just stumbled on this beautiful drone video from Madeira, and I think it says it all. ua-cam.com/video/NcBjx_eyvxc/v-deo.html
I hope you make as many of these vids as it takes to get on the leaderboard. Genuinely the most entertaining content on UA-cam.

"Riktig" also means correct in Norwegian (possibly Danish and/or Swedish too)
Means real in swedish.
And most importantly, it's richtig in German, not riktig
That Salta guess was mental!! Unbelievable! Great job, Tom!
Who would’ve thought that Bernardo silva was class at geoguesser
Unbelievable detective skills in Salta, Tom. I'm speechless with how you were able to do that. You could have probably gifted me the country, nay, the city, and I still wouldn't have been able to decipher that. I even went on Google Maps to check out the exact location you were and I would never been able to pick up the 'C' on that sign... Just crazy good detective skills, my friend! Cheers!
That Argentina guess was the best thing I’ve ever seen
Wow man, from a complete nobody: Huge props for recognizing your influence and calming the waters a bit. If everyone in that position did so, we'd have a much better world.
THAT SALTA ROUND WAS AMAZING!!!
I’ve been falling in love with these videos more and more each time i watch, and this video just nailed it in the coffin. What an entertaining video to watch, my jaw dropped a few times. That Argentina “guess” wasn’t a guess at that point 😜 Well done
That's insane, the third one I INSTANTLY knew was Madeira and I've only been there once years ago. Must be very unique vegetation
y I was kinda tempted to go with azores but they are a little less tropcal.
That Salta guess was absolutely insane. When I saw the roof contour of that house to the left I was so sure you had it. Nicely done. And as a note to myself: those black street name signs with the arrow are probably Argentina.
About the Israel round:
These types of houses are very common in the old parts of a kibbutz/moshav (small towns).
The Salta guess was out of this world!
As an argentine, it was obvious that it was my country, only by the feel of it, but getting a perfect score in a difficult location is mental! You're an awesome player Tom, cheers!
That Salta round was incredible
The most amazing detail on the Salta guess was that you could see the angle to the building across to the right from the intersection which mapped perfectly onto that intersection in google maps.
Insane knowledge. Maybe one day we'll use this kind of information to map out other planets or something cool.
"It probably didn't help that I said 'what a wanker'" lol
2 uploads in a row!! Loving the content as always. That Argentina guess was beautiful.
The panederria moment was funny asf 😂😂😂
Woooow That Argentina „guess“!!!
I’ve been watching for a while and that Argentina guess is the most wicked thing I’ve ever seen you do. Sheesh!

Well said and good on you to realize! Chapeaux!
But also important to note that goes for all of us, every single person writing a comment
13:20 "as well as the English version" ..... you meant Latin as opposed to Cyrillic. And the Portuguese island is Madeira, Funchal is the capital.
☝🏻🤓
This is cool... Never thought I would see my city before I opened the video! I knew right away the second I saw how the street name sign post is painted, white and black stripes. Strikes me how reminiscent of my city that silly thing is. GeoGuesser is cool as hell!
You were right about it being Portugal 🤷🏼♂️
he couldn't have been any closer in Portugal without putting it on that Island either.
Im watching the video on a mobile phone, so i couldnt have the same level of detail. Not sure how he thought about portugal, but if there was something writen in portuguese, my first though was Madeira actually, it was too tropical
