Highland Laddie as massed bands salute Chieftain at 2024 North of Scotland Pipe Band Championship

Drum Major Michael Leitch leads the massed Pipe Bands salute to the Chieftain, as they play "Highland Laddie" during the finale of the 2024 North of Scotland Pipe Band Championship. This was held at King George V Park in Banchory on Sunday 12th May 2024. The Chieftain is Donald Farquharson, 16th Laid of Finzean, who gives the speech here.
There was a great turnout of Pipe Bands taking part in this championship, thanks to the efforts of the organisers Banchory District Initiative, in conjunction with the Royal Scottish Pipe band Association - North of Scotland Branch.
