I have 2 919 Aquarobo. I have had really good luck with mine and Aquarobo has good customer service. I have used mine in the local mine pits and believe it or not been to 65 ft for prolonged times. Never ran the battery out yet. You can run it with two divers at 30 ft and get inflation hookups for BCDs. Ive used it in cold water as well with no freeze ups. Im a certified scuba diver and I often use it for shallow dives with no overhead obstacles so I can stay down longer. I use a dive computer and redundant air as I feel its needed. Under 30 ft I don't feel it is. Aquarobo also sells different hoses for these. I have also put better scuba aqua lung regulators on my hoses. Filters are easy to clean. Can't say much bad about mine,
One way around the flight restrictions is to break up the pattern into smaller capacity cells or batteries that can be put into series or parallel. You can carry as many lithium batteries as you want on a flight as long as they’re less than 100wh.
Good review,... I purchased the 519-6 They say 6hr but I'm sure I would be lucky to get 3-4. I've tested it in shallow depths under 10ft,... Works great. Quiet unit compared to the Expensive brand name units. Mesh cage for underbelly protection is a fantastic idea. Keep up the great reviews m8.
thanks for posting...I had a blue 3 it died on me after its 5th use.. very disappointing. i'd like to get something else eventually or just get certified. you do a great job with all your videos
I'd love to get one of those types of systems. I think some metal mesh around the bottom would protect it from damage, maybe something you could modify for it, or suggest to the developer.
No issues here, the 819 is a good model that is smaller and lighter. Perfect for Metal Detecting. These are all great for the 30-40 foot range (i would not recommend any deeper on a hookah unit) and still remaining safe. What i like about them is the 4-5 hour battery life.
Thanx for the great review. It was very helpful. What model would you reccomend from the aquarobo line for metal detecting salt water in not more than 10m deep?
I ordered the 819. I am guessing their standards declined. I unboxed it and it did not match the manual. The specs of what you get are very vague. My guess they just loaded the box with anything laying around. I am hoping since my life will depend on it that the system's internals are okay for the lungs. I will use this to clean under my sailboat so I won't be deep diving.
@@IffySignals I do have a question. Does the system need to be run in water for cooling? I asked eric and he said "bonded to water,", which sounded odd. tia
Alot of concerns here, what kind of pump system is used if they mounted a airfilter on the line, and if compressor fails and tube shrinks the tune loses lengh quickly. How does it feel compared to your nomad system at 10 feet /20feet /30 feet. The price looks good but alot of ifs on the component side of things, would be awsome with a deepdive into it.
Agree allot of if’s. Website says it has an oil free/brushless motor. Customer service for questions is good, Eric at Aquarobo has always gotten back to me when i had questions. Deepest i have had it was 12 feet, i was down for over 30 minutes at a time and it feels good. Quality - Nomad is better built with everything enclosed and a strong hose and travel friendly also can be repaired in the USA.
Hi,when you plug in to charge it does the fan starts to work directly? I bought 519 model, its not charging anymore.seller resend to me new charger.but my old charger still shows up 13A output..seller said because of fan fault its not charging
Thanks for the video. Do you know if there is any difference between the 619 and 919 other than the battery time? Are the batteries lithium? I am building my "treasure boat" (remolding an old bass tracker) and was debating to put a fixed air unit in it,. Or save some costs and get a floating one like this. Is there a way to release water build up in the tank? Sorry for all the questions but I got an email into garland. But it may take a while to get a response... Again thanks for the review and if your ever down in FL your welcome to hit the sand bars or beaches with us....
Hi, the 919 has the water cooler feature its sealed off and has coolant in it. It has a bigger air pump as well. The batteries are lithium. You can reach Eric Damon on FB messenger if you have it.. might be faster than email. Thx
Its close to as expensive as the Nomad. Build quality and serviceable here in the US has to go to the Nomad. You can go deeper and dive longer with the Aquarobo but i prefer the Nomad being so light and travel friendly. Cannot get on a plane with the Aquarobo.
@@IffySignals nomad is much more expensive... I do like it is made in FL. But the price is a deal breaker. Not to concerned about warranty because a 3 year warranty from Amazon is only 60 bucks. Doubt I would ever fly with either of these I just stick to beaches detecting when I travel. Any ways. I was looking more for your opinion on durability and how they are performing to this point. Thanks for the reply!
5 breath - survivable for me at 30' 😆when I am ready to hear silence in the water. i'm scuba dive master an do free diving for 15 years straight. if you do not have spare air with this - you are flipping the coin. good luck!

Many big internal batteries with this one. All wired together.
Do a 3d printed molded cage that opens on top and slide the system down then a grill type lid then a lock simple
Good idea

Mike, I contacted a guy that has the 519-3 and he said he gets around 4 hrs,so 5 hours on yours seems very doable..
Awesome 👍
Pretty cool! Thanks for the review! I plan on trying out a hookah surface air unit eventually, so this really helps a lot! 😄👍❤️
Thanks. Ill out up a video soon with the stuff i use to detect.
Thanks to Iffy Signals for the aquarobo 919 real test. I can't thank you enough for this.
Welcome Eric

Yea.. Crazy deep for a hookah.

Hi, thanks. The 819 is the one i like.
Very interesting setup, Mike. Not too sure about the durability, though. But, great review! Oh, I received my package, thanks so much!💖

@@dubo5 yes, its water cooled. You can run it out of water for a min or so to check it all out but make sure the motor does not get hot.
That's awesome brother! Thanks for the demo video!
Thanks Bud!
Great demo pal 👌🏻
Thanks 👍👍
How is this holding up? How often have you used it? Have you been in salt water with it? Thanks
Its still doing good, never in salt, just fresh water for metal detecting.

Great review Mikey hey what was the price of that thing compared to say the blue beanie
Hey Mike! I think they are around the same this one is $1299 on Amazon. Blu3 Nemo is around the same depending how many batteries you get with it.

Can a 12v battery and power inverter charge it?
Yes, if you have an inverter than goes from DC to AC it will charge.

@@thorgray1544 tje charger shows input 2.5A 50/60 HZ. Output of the charger is 12v 8amps.
That expanding hose looks identical to expanding garden hoses I saw landscaping I hope they didn't do that
They did do that. It has a standard 3/8 connector. I bought a yellow scuba breathing line for mine. Aquarobo sells them now as well.
Non produce condensa?
It had an inline filter.
Not sure about Chinese diving gear though . Maybe I will give it a miss
Hey Mike, i like them for Metal Detecting because they last 3-4 hours with a charge. Mine is working good.

Definitely should have a spare air.
Won’t be getting this if I can’t travel with it and also have to send it back to China
Cannot travel with any of these. Only ones i know of are the Blu3’s and Air Buddy that are allowed on a plane.

Major noise polluter.
I definitely prefer the electric models over the gas. Can barely hear it when under the water.
