Before anyone come here and tell us , the standards were pathetic and uncomfortable . you get what you pay for , there are alot of comfortable wagons , different trains ( but they ask the price for comfort which is valid in my opinion ) and planes so ... if you pay few bucks you get same value and it is for the masses .

For any Indian a train journey is a life time journey where memories are made.As a part I wish to quote my experience..It was in the year long back in 1987 I took the A.P. express from New Delhi to Secunderabad.But to my shock there was a derailment of the Tamil Nadu express on the same route.As a result our train was forced to take a different route and was stationed in a nondescript Village in Maharashtra.There was no availability of food there.only Bananas was available in plenty 20 pcs for Rs give..I had my small daughter aged three with me.I tried to cajole her since she was getting hungry.I took her to the pantry canteen and there too only cold drink available but no food.But by the act of God the man at the counter took pity on the child and offered his own food.That day I cannot never forget in my life.

I love very spicy food but i cant sleep on upper berths because sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night and jump or do things lol. I ve travelled by bus in India in 1996 and it was pure hell. I love the train as a mean of transport in general, did also the transiberian-Mongolian then to hong kong from europe in 1993 one of the best trips of my life but India however long you stay(few days or months) it will always stay with you forever Just subscribed to your channel
why didn't you take air India or indigo direct flight? And travelling in Indian trains always book for AC 2 tier/AC 1 tier for long distances and AC 3 tier for short to medium distance trains. I personally have travelled all the way from extreme South Kannyakumari to extreme North Katra only in sleeper class and it was very much exciting journey.
train in ticket is not expensive in India than any other countries. you cant complete 2457 km in train in any other country , you might become broke end of the day, in some countries train tickets are expensive than flights
Why u travelled all the way from North of India to south and then again back to north ? And why you didn't booked direct trains bro ? You could have saved a lot of money time and hassle. You dont get showers on trains anywhere in the world except luxery trains (which we do have but it's costly). If you want privacy then you can book a 1AC ticket and youll have an entire closed room for yourself. He is in general class....
Pay more and travel in luxury train or 1AC instead of blaming. Don't expect everything at this low price. He wants to feel the real experience, which travelling by air can't provide.

You should have taking Rajdhani express train from Chennai till Agra or Jhansi and from Jhansi or from Agra there are direct train till Varanasi.
