I love that this is an older Peter Parker. Marvel usually in the comics and more recently in the movies likes Peter in the high school range. And while it makes for some great stories seeing a young inexperienced Spider-Man, being able to see this game where he's been SM for 8 years is just really cool. He hasn't lost his quips but he also is more intelligent and you can see that in his fighting skill level. I just like seeing Peter grown up sometimes just for the maturation of the character alone.
in the comics he is older than ps4 spiderman

Ya the new one shows some great stuff and shows more of how the game is going to play also the banter from spider man is great from what we have seen so far

The villain at the end that nobody knows has to be Dr. Octavius or known as Dr. Octupus. He’s the guy with titanium-steel artificial tentacle "arms". He was in Spider-man 2 and this being him makes a lot of sense. All the villains were wearing suits that were made from him and Spider-man recognized him. I’m not saying this is right, but i’m just throwing an idea of who the mystery villain is

Spider Man PS4 is based on Spider Man stories from the mid 2000s to early 2010s; including Spider Man: New Day (2006?), Spider man: Big Time (2009?) and hints at Superior Spider Man (2013?) as well as the Electro's attack on The Raft in New Avengers back in about 2005 I think. There is an original story here but it's assembled from parts of these stories as far as I've seen.

This game looks awesome. If you played sunset overdrive you should expect nothing less from these guys. They were made to make a Spider-Man game.

It irks me in so many ways when people say Spider-Man reminds them of Arkham, rocksteady just took everything good about SpiderMan games and put it all in Arkham with the level of polish SpiderMan never got because he was in Activision's cheap ass hands.

at the end when spiderman said "You" saying there was someone else there to.. im saying it right now that it was the asian girl spiderman saved i in the beginning of the trailer.. most likely she was working with the bad guys or is one herself

The show Floor demo's really worth reacting to if you haven't gotten the chance to play it on location imo, gives a much better idea of how good the swinging is than this, as well as the activities available in the Open-World.

I've seen this so many times now and I'm just now coming to the conclusion that the person at the end may have been Doctor Octopus, because I realized this was the Sinister Six. A lot of people have been saying they think that its Iron Man which I don't disagree with, it is a possibility.

I mean, tbf, a lot of media, movies/games/cartoons, like to portray Peter as a high school student who just got his powers.
@@fullmetal_3961 Yeah. I liked USM a lot in its time, and Peter's career barely lasted three years or so in it, lol. A combination of Tom Holland killing it as Spider-Man and other things just really made me wanna remind people that Peter's been an adult in his mainline comics for decades already.

Could the last one been Doctor Octopus? If that's a sinister six then he has to be the last one we haven't see yet. Plush he's always the leader of the sinister six and one of the greatest enemy of spiderman

dr. derp I'm not sure if Arkham Aysylem came out before amazing spiderman, but amazing spiderman also had this combat system. It's just this game's combat seems a hell more refined. The wall running was also in AS, as well as not being able to swing unless there is something to swing off of.
Spider-man did that fighting style first arkham copied spider-man everyone saying like arkham finally pissed me off.
I love the arkham games I've got all of them its the phase like arkham, arkham is a better version of spider-man's combat system but it was first. Its pisses me off when people keep saying Heath Ledger like about all over Jokers when most copy Mark Hamill for the voice.
Ok then Prince of Persia sands of time all the way through to assassin's creed origins started off block counter to auto counter. I know batman did it better still not the first game.
