Insomniac didnt make the Infamous games that was Sucker Punch. Insomniac made Ratchet and Clank, Sunset Overdrive, and Spyro
They made Spyro too? Damn I used to play that years and years ago. I loved the Ratchet and Clank series for all of the creative weapons and varied enemies too, like, this game is definitely in good hands.

After giving it a few watches, you can see Spidey actually does sense the crane hook. His eyes widen kinda like an "OH SHIT" before it hits him. It's the little details that really do wonders.

Everyone forgets about Ultimate Spider Man, it's my favorite Spider Man Game for the art style, playability and story (even if it was a little short), plus you could play as Venom!!!

What is it with youtubers missing the ending to this trailer? I watched reactions to this game all day today and out of 10 different reactions, only one channel managed to actually watch the miles morales reveal.
TheKingOfTheThrill a lot of the early reactors watched the Live E3 version where it didn't show the after-title scene.
Wicked Yeah, I was watching the conference live, so when I went on the Marvel subreddit and saw everyone mentioning Miles, I kept going through the video looking for it for like ten minutes before I realized there was a bit at the end they didn't show in the livestream.
Oh, but if they had stuck to the end of the conference after the final montage of games they announced during the night immediately after it starts the after credit scene with Miles. So the scene WAS in the live broadcast, but you had to pay attention to the game montage.

I'm hearing a lot of Arkham references from people when watching this, honestly even though the Arkham games kinda pioneered this type of superhero gameplay, it's not Arkham inspired. All of the gameplay that we see in this looks like it's own thing. Also I recall people saying The Amazing Spider-man 2 was "Arkham-like" as if it was bad. Just an observation. I played almost every spider-man game and can't wait for this one.

Yeah, using a gameplay mechanic isn't the same as copying. If that were the case Call of Duty is copying Duke Nukem because they are both first person and Duke did it first.
Actually spider-man did it first with spider-man 2 for ps2 then Arkham came and evolved the style is all.

Web of Shadows, shattered dimensions and Spiderman 2. But this game is the ultimate Spider-Man experience

BOI that's how u know he didn't play web of shadows it's one of the best Spider-Man games ever made and got great reviews. Game play was amazing and the sound track along with story was great. Not to mention it's reply value

the spiderman dodge and attack technique is actually from spiderman 2 the game - strange to think but arkham just polished up the formula
It's like Iron Man 2008 era all over again in a smaller form, when most of the people left before post-credits scene.

Guys, Spider-man 2 on the PS2 did the dodge combat before Arkham Batman. So Batman is FROM Spider-man.

I've never been more excited for a movie than I am for Spiderman and I've never been more excited for a game like I am spiderman.
Ultimate Spiderman on the ps2 was my fav, it was cel shaded and had spidey as a legit teenager, you got tougher as the game went on, etc. The very minimal tall buildings were the only complaint I had but, they still made it work.
the crime boss is a villain known as Mr. Negative, who draws power from the Negative Zone (i.e. phantom zone)
If you guys didn't know, Yuri Lowenthal is the voice of Spider-Man and the bad guy is Mr. Negative
you always check how much time is left in a video. That miles Morales reveal was cool

How that chopper ended up reminds me of the original Spiderman movie trailer which was quickly pulled and banned because he webbed it up between the Twin Towers.

I can see the game having a "public opinion" mechanic wherein the more civilians get hurt on your missions, the more hostile the city becomes to your presence (maybe they call the police on you or something) and then you have run small side missions for a while to build back trust with the public.
One of the best E3 trailer's ever made.

The majority of all those controls and styles come from the amazing spiderman games like the wall running and the Arkham style fighting, etc. Still super hyped that they're bringing those back and making them even better for this game! :D

Infamous was done by Sucker Punch. These guys did the new Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive. Two VERY underrated games. This game is in good hands.

Actually, if he paid attention you could see that Spiderman does have a little white flash over his head before that crane thing hits him, and obviously, he couldn't do anything about it even if he did sense it in time to escape since he's holding a crane so it doesn't fall on tons of civilians

I actually lost my shit when Miles showed up. Paired with gameplay and Mr Negative as the villain I'm so fucking sold on this game.
This looks fantastic! As a huge Spider-Man this appears to be a really satisfying experience. My favorite Spider-Man game is still Spider-Man 2. Not the best graphics or even story but for me it's easily the best gameplay wise. This new game looks like it'll be even better. Can't say I'm really excited for though. It's a PS4 exclusive and I have an XBox One.
